Suarez replaced by Lambert and Balotelli and Gerrard to be replaced by Delph. That's some serious downgrading there - what is Rodgers thinking?

Some would say it's not Rodgers making these calls

Didn't think it would all disappear though after it was there this afternoon.  :-\ :-\

I can see them ok. You could go into 'application manager' on your phone, into Showbox and chose 'clear data' (will clear any saved data like the contents of your library), but it seems to solve any problems

His distribution has definitely improved. Coutinho would certainly miss him

Looks like Lucas is off to Inter  >:(  :(

Surely not unless there is a holding midfielder already sorted as a replacement. Lucas has been playing well this season

Clarke @ #7? McGeeney did say he wants Clarke to appreciate what its like further out the field and experience how the ball gets played into him. Interesting

no harm to McGeeney but that is one the most ridiculous things / ideas I've heard a manager say / implement. Playing Clarke in a defensive / providing role, especially as he'll, 100% be playing as a forward come championship time is a waste of time. A halfback with the strength and skills to tackle and win turn over ball, as well as reading the situation as an attack starts  surely merits game time in this position in the lead up to the league. Its actually more mad than Harte playing Penrose as a defender for 5 (maybe more) odd years...the mind blows!

Maybe that's why your not a manager or coach?

no.....Armaghs 1 rolls royce forward being played in defence. Shouldnt be asking me about my managerial credentails, ask McGeeney

Skeog, Penrose blindly slapped at the ball using alternative hands as quick as he could ie couldnt tackle for sugar

Anyone using Shoebox on a Windows tablet?

Showbox even! When I download the Showbox apk app it just seems to disappear on my Windows tablet. Any help appreciated.

Are you using an android emulator?
Emulator??? Excuse my ignorance.

Showbox is based on the android platform not windows so you need to run an android emulator on your windows machine for it to work. Just google "install showbox on windows". I got it running on a windows7 laptop for a friend of mine using an emulator called Bluestack.

A word of warning though Bluestack annoyingly keeps asking for credit card details which it says it only needs to verify your location. I didn't take the chance... There are numerous other emulators though.

There may be a Windows download for Moviebox kicking around though similar to the iOS ones that are currently around?? Someone on here will know..

Just a wee word on emulators. I looked into them a wee while back. Bluestacks was the best I tried. The other 2 were far too processor hungry. In saying that bluestacks ended up bringing my ultrabook to a near enough standstill. It also only allows movies to play on their lowest definition and forces you to add a couple of dung apps pretty frequently or pay them some cash. Laptop also started blue screening!!! All in all i wouldn't have an emulator near my machine

The GPA are doing nought. ..a few self servers on an undisclosed wage  paying lip service to some of the countries elite players whilst jet setting around the world.  Those chancers don't  wanna rock the boat I'd imagine

The video shows one of the attackers walking up to the wounded cop, then the video is censored but you can hear the kill shot. It's gruesome.

General discussion / Phone / tech bans in the house
January 07, 2015, 03:49:58 PM
We started a new phone / tech policy in the house last night. All phones, gadgets or whatever are left in a basket in the kitchen at 10pm until the morning. Its mostly for our eldest young teenager's benefit, who is spending way too much time on hers and is finding it hard to concentrate on studies etc. Good for me also as I was watching too many shows and not getting enough sleep

any of you do anything similar? Any tips re phone etiquette and children?

cheers

Season 4 Episode 12 'Long Time Coming' is definately on couch tuner..just checked there. Click Homeland from the menu on the right hand side. Will be the top episode listed on the left

Sorry to be a pain but I saw all that but when I click into it and then I have to click something else and then a pop up appears and then when I try to play it it asks me to sign up to something. I'm wary of signing up for things so just left it. Where am I going wrong.

Your help is much appreciated as I am desperate to see the final episode!

ah jeez. Usually fairly good that site. Showbox on your phone / tablet (thats where i watched it sir)  or maybe try 1channel.ch if its still on the go (stopped using due to the crazy mount of pop ups)

I need some TV help.

Due to the fact I turned off the UPC box - the last episode of Homeland did not record on RTE.

I tried looking it up on RTE player but for some reason it doesn't appear. Anyone know where I could get the last episode online?

Couchtuner.eu

Thanks for the suggestion - it didn't work as it didn't have the most recent homeland episode:

S04 E12

Anyone any other ideas?

The county season needs dramatically shortened which in return will also allow the club championship run off in the calendar year,as well as a decent club season in the whole.

The point that everyone realises is that all these inter county players are in a privileged position. There are hundreds upon hundreds of lads out there who would bite their hand off to be in their position.

You Lucky, Lucky b**tards!

There is nothing lucky about postponing your career, denying yourself promotions and ensuring you will need knee or hip replacements in your 40's. In my opinion anyway. Your view to me is from a bygone era. They were the priviledged ones when you had a life outside the GAA. Now you can't have one to play at inter county level.

All considering 24 out of 32 teams have zero chance of winning anything either. Its commendable that it's lasted this long

thats if you're full time with Dublin. Derry for example have dentists in the team, others training to be doctors and other top end professional jobs as well as business owners etc . Would love to have worn the senior county jersey....absolute privilege to represent your county. Hope some year by young buck does
