Laughed my bollocks off at the defending! Yes Fowler knows where the net is, but Dudeck doesn't!

Bad news for Down. He's a fine hurler.

It's funny that the Ulster Council site has the hurling entries up but not the football when the football starts in Feb and the hurling in April. Have any of your clubs entered?

Clooney are preparing for their All Ireland JHC semi final. But there's no reason why that should stop them, entering the UHL. The JHC final will be well out of the way before the Ulster league gets started. I think this competition will go from strenght to strenght and it is good to see Galls and Dunloy in it this time round. The more matches clubs get during the good weather the better IMO.

Are there other counties in Ulster playing players from outside the county on their teams? A Scullion plays for Down and R Gallagher has move to Cavan. Any others? I can't think of an example wher it has worked out well.

Rossa, St Gall's, St John's, Gortnamona, St Paul's. Take your pick. It depends on the standard you are looking for.

GAA Discussion / Re: Paddy Heaney of the irish news!
January 03, 2007, 10:07:57 AM
I heard that Gerry (Jerry?) Quinn the former Down Chairman had a major go at Paddy at the Down convention. He also suggested that members of Paddy's club, Bredagh, must share his views! Apparently the Bredagh delegates were furious and demanded a right of reply. Quinn was voted out by 3 votes. Did the attack on Paddy Heaney put the final nail in his coffin?

Missed the programme but I was talking to a fella in the club today who saw it. Good show by all accounts. Knowing BBC it will be repeated often.
