Do ye think we'll have many fans at this big game on Sat night?
The Dubs are well up for it. Did ye see their fans at the Laois match on TG4?
Ye'd think they won the AI.

Think we should all wear RED as ye cant see the white tops so well.

Pity we don't get some sort of a Mascot guy to get us chanting a few better songs.
I have a HOMER Mask and just need two big Red hands and a Cape

I know there has been a lot of chopping and changing but who are the 5 top Tyrone scorers from the McKenna cup so far.

What age is big Rouse?
Was he in the U-21's squad of late?

Good to hear about the good performances from these new guys?

Were any of the college lads playing this time?
I read on Friday Tyrone agreed not to play them any more in the McKenna cup?

Was at a party with a few Down lads and I was making the point that it would be hard on the 4 lads if they didnt make the panel just for the benefit of their college and then later in the year Tyrone happened to win the AI.

They would be devasted if they missed out on an AI medal just because of some silly rule to benefit their university who have no realistic hope of winning the McKenna cup anyway.

Just because they might make the panel next year would be of no consolation as AI winning teams don't come along too often and you gotta make the most of the squad you currently have.

There has been very little talk of Cavlan so far.
I heard he's been at most games and training but is he injured again?

Do you think he'll be good enough to play this year or is Mickey looking for more hard working players.
Surely he is as good as Mugsy on a nice day with a hard pitch.

I for one would be happy with another tall forward to help out Stevie.

Can anybody give us the low-down on Rouse?

I believe he'd from Brackaville.
How tall is he? Good fielder? Strong?

Is he a full forward usually?
Did he score much last year?
Do you think he'll make the final 30?

Did anyone get any descent tickets from ticketmaster or where they all near the corners?
The ones on sale since Christmas has been in the sections nearest Hill 16 corners on both stands.

Do most of the descent tickets go to the clubs or do the GAA sell them directly from headquarters?

As with the FIFA rankings, there could be teams near the top that are consistently strong but you know there not much chance of them winning the world cup.

1  Brazil 1588
2  Italy 1560
3  Argentina 1551
4  France 1523
5  England 1359
6  Germany 1348
7  Netherlands 1305

Likewise in the AI it takes that little bit extra to push through and actually win it.
People will continue to say Mayo don't have the bottle to win it until they prove them wrong.

Has there ever been a Ulster final in Casement?

What was the largest attendance at a match in casement?
How many of you would be happy to have the final held in Belfast?

I can't understand why they would spend all this money on Clones.
Nobody likes going there mainly due to traffic congestion and the whole out-dated feel of the place.

Also, Croker only gets a limited No of games per year where they get more than their so-called break even point so taking away the Ulster final would be another loss of income.

Teams & managers love playing in Croke park & fans like going there, even if it does take longer to get home from.

Do you think there will be a full house for the Sat fight night v Tyrone.
Will they make it all ticket?

I can see a lot of Tyrone fans going to it, especially after last year.
Is this Pillar's last year?

Think the Donegal airport is away on the west coast near Gweedore which is about an hour drive from Ballybofey where Donegal play most of their matches.

Think U can hire a car there for E30 but don't know about bus services.

I'd say its a lot of hassle but never been there myself.

Only one Tyrone game is on a Sunday. away to Limerick.

All others are on Sat nights.

Is this to improve attendances or reduce them?

I believe the Tyrone game plan has worked very well and is indeed the main reason why we finally made the break-thru. I think we needed something extra to beat teams like Armagh or the old style Meath etc.

But Tyrone and Kerry have become a lot more like Armagh now I think. Much more defensive minded which leads to much more congestion and tactical fouling.

Having watched NFL and Championship games last year, teams know we rarely kick the ball long now as we prefer to run it out of defense. Therefore they stop us building from the back as Dublin and Derry did last year by constant fouling in our half back line.

This creates a horrible negative spectacle of a  game which a lot of teams were copying until Kerry re-introduced the long ball into Star this year.

I'm just saying I was getting a little tired last season with constant fouling and slow play up the field and quite often hitting passes into 1 or 2 forwards with maybe 4 defenders around them.

I trust M.Harte though and think come June he will have something up his sleeve.

With regard to Tyrone football I think we have got too much into focusing on game plan and not enough playing natural attacking football.

We often play with a 2 man FF line and often we have 9 or 10 people back defending and so when we win possesion we have no-one to pass it to in the forward line or if Stevie O'Neill wins it he has no support.

Stevie can just about manage with 2 men marking him but Mugsy struggles to even win the ball now.

All this defensive tactics are spoiling our attractive football and now we've won 2 AI's we should get back to basics.
