Jim - I've had a bit of trouble off the tee myself this last few weeks - so instead of fretting about it and destroying what is left of the golf season - I've just given myself a little go-to tee shot, and will work on the tee all winter.

I'm giving myself a 3/4 swing ball - aimed about 20 yards left of target - that will fade right into the fairway every time. Stance open. The fellas are calling it the Puckoon cutter - but it seems to be taking a lot of the confidence draining that you are talking about when standing on the tee away. Im losing about 20-30 yards and getting no roll - but its in play every time.

Obviously this isnt ideal - but im determined to enjoy the last couple weeks of shorts and good weather without breaking down the swing again.

Far better to be 30 yards shorter but have the ball in play. Drive for show putt for dough.

Anyone any experience with the Kia Cee'd? Think it's a decent looking motor, with good mpg, 0% finance and 7 year warranty. Seems like a good deal.

Great car but unlikely to impress the chicks (unless you are buying it for them).

Cars like Kia and Hyundai have really come on in leaps and bounds over the last few years.
I have one of the new Kia Sorento's and I love it.
I do believe there is little between most cars nowadays, obviously there is a bit of a leap to the luxury car sector like Lexus,Audi,BMW etc but other than that be it Ford,Toyota,Kia,Skoda they are all pretty much the same in terms of quality IMO.

I'm not an Electrician but I am involved with other trades and I have always found the guy who knows a little is always far dangerous than the guy who knows nothing about a certain trade.
The guy who knows nothing will call the professionals to do the job the guy who knows a little will chance it himself and after the inevitable balls up he makes of the job he then calls the professional.
Sure we all learn from our mistakes I suppose.

Should be no tolerance for driving after drinking at all. If you crave the taste of beer that badly, there are non-alcoholic options for you. Otherwise leave the car at home. I'm only judging from my own immediate neighbourhood from when I was at home in the summer, but if the boys in my rural local hopping in the cars after three or four pints, some having a shot or two as well, are typical of Irish attitudes to drinking and driving, we are an absolute disgrace.
