My Choice for Player of the Year would be Lacey. Kept some excellent Forwards/Playmakers quiet all game long.

No Doubt OwrrrrrrrrrTE will select one of the Brogans.

Never really was an REM Fan, but there was no doubting Michael Stipe was a Great Songwriter.

May I recommend the following Bans for REM Fans:

Magazine (Howard Devoto was the precursor to Michael Stipe with his idiosyncrasy).

XTC (Cut from the same cloth as Magazine, Radiohead were also inspired by them).

Husker Du (Minnesota Punk Band. Same Political Leanings as REM).

The Flaming Lips (Basically REM on Acid).

I'll be there on Sunday, more in hope than expectation.

I am well informed that the Referee in the Drawn Game at Healy Park was the Umpire who failed to spot Big John being headbutted by Peter Ward in 2009 prior to the Penalty.

Marty McGuinness raised his profile Internationally over the past 14 Years, whilst ignoring 'Bread and Butter' issues in Mid Ulster. His Party Colleague Baibre De Bruin gave her blessing to the closure of the A & E Unit at Mid Ulster Hsopital (which was implemented by Michael McGimpsey) and there is an abnormally high rate of suicides in the Loughshore region (yet the focus has been placed on suicides in Belfast).

I view myself as Binational (ie. Both British and Irish) as stipulated under the GFA. I hold BOTH National Passports and am willing to get along with both communities (in spite of the Government's attempts to drive a PC Wedge between them).

Frank McGuigan sent off (two yellows)
I believe if it is a draw at full time extra time will take place.

Beavis has always been our most consistent forward for the past 10 Years or so.

Can only see it going one way now. :(

I don't think it is rubbish, but I do think it's part of the All Black Brand.

Still raises the hair on my neck when I see them do it in a big game. If they didn't do it for every test it might be a bit more meaningful as distinct from being part of the package.

If Dublin win the All-Ireland would you be happy to hear Brand Dublin been talked about? I use Dublin in this context as they would be the most obvious county to commercialise...

Call me a traditionalist but I hate when people refer to sports teams as a brand, talk about losing your soul and identity..

+1.

And 'Red or Black' (ie. 'Win Simon Cowell's Money') is basically a glorified version of Winning Streak.

Strong finish by Stewartstown after Augher got their second goal from the spot kick, whom seemed to lose momentum after each goal. It won't matter now, but the Harps' second last point was at least 2 metres wide of the post!

Umpires, eh?

Kinda reminds me of the League game we had against Coalisland when Turlogh Wylie Green Flagged a Coalisland 'Goal' which everyone who saw it knew was a Squareball.

Listening to Irish Politics, it seems to me like it a mirror image of what Britain is like 30 Years ago:

Ireland in the 90's was like Britain in the 60's with its Social and Cultural upheaval.

Ireland now is just like Britain during the 80's, a Thatcherite 'Faux Conservative' Government with opposition coming from Socialist 'Baby Boomers'.

It will seem like 2027 will lead to the Republic having a Fabianist Government which will promise a lot but deliver little.

Apparently Marty McGuinness was considered as Sinn Fein's Candidate for the Presidential Election. Just what the Republic needs, another Politician with multiple Pensions. ::)

Mary Lou McDonald was interviewed on UTV Live, but again She is another Multi-Pension Career Politician.

Too bad John Hume is too old for the Job. He was on the Front Line during the Civil Rights era, the Frontline on RTE would've been a cakewalk for him in comparison.

The problem is that most budding young Irish People have emigrated.

The Protestant Middle Classes have abandoned the Orange Order in favour of Sporting Events and Concerts. Only the Chav element within Unionism pledge allegiance to the Orangemen.

btw, Aren't the Irish Republican Brotherhood Freemasons too?

Ardboe have not forwarded a team list for the programme tonight.

Anything untoward, or is Big John making a prodigal comeback tonight?
