You are but it's not quite stealing. For example- I need somewhere to live and you tell me you have a bedsit in your garden you never use and I am more tha welcome to it. I move in and we live happily beside eachother for 10 years. During these 10 years I have a son who needs speacail care, I become a full time carer. I fit the bedsit with wheel chair access and enrol him in the local school for speacail needs. His life quality is built around the fact we live in this bedsit. Our lives over the last 10 years are designed to include the location, access, comfort etc of the bedsit.

If you come to me after 10 years and say i must move for some reason or another the cost of me moving would be imeasurable in terms of how it would effect me and my sons life. I could claim squatters rights and hope to get to stay. I would not be stealing I would just not be willing to pay that price for moving.

I see where you are comin from in a situation like this but this would be the most extreme case. Even at that, is the friends generosity for letting you stay for 10 years not enough of a gift. I probably come accross as mean but I just think that many people would use this law to take something they are not entitled to.

But are you not taking something that belongs to someone else without paying for it. Not taking the piss just think that is what it boils down to.

Ah no. If you are tasking the piss out of squatters rights it is theft but there are many genuine cases.

Jaysus it is some spot. Just reading the thread title brings back memories.(Well blurry memories) Remember buffalo joes was good. There was a thing in it where you put your head back and they poured drink down your throat.Some spot.

Ballinderry will beat any team in it if they play up to standard. Glenullin will be hard to beat aswell.

The ulster league shows what you team should be aspiring to and allows you to play teams that you would normally never get the chance to play. Everyone knows hows good ballinderry are but sure its great to get the chance to play against the best teams out there.

Balinderry will struggle to compete with that Gortin team.

They aint doin too bad for an aul intermediate team!

Not sure about this but heard it on the wireless one day that westport is one of the first places in the world where they have done a 3D image of on google earth. havent been on google earth yet so cant say wheter this is true or not. Anyone know if its true??

Ok im not the biggest Robbie Williams fan in the world but saying this man has sold over 70 million ablums wordwide its very strange that he has just disappeared into the background. since the come back of TAKE THAT Robbies career has gone to pot. i would really like to see the cheeky Stoke on trent boy back in the limelight. he was a big character when on the scene.

Saw Tigerland a few weeks ago and thought it was a really good film. Anyone else see it?

All four gortin players on the tyrone squad are very good players. Kevin and Diarmuid were playing for the minors last year and Brian mc garvey and Ruari keenan are very good players. I dont think they would include players if they did not think they were up to it. If they did they know it will come back to haunt them.
