Just finished watching the entire 5 season last night - wow.

Still brilliant but the worst of the 5 IMO.

Sorry - badly put, just finished watching the entire show (ie) all 5 seasons, one after the other

How's the withdrawal? You'll more than likely go through random episodes watching random clips for a few weeks.

That's pretty much how it goes. Here's a few to get you started Stephenite..

He was rated 212 by Timeform, the highest ever, two ahead of Flyingbolt, the most unfortunate horse in history. Flyingbolt, rated the second-best ever, was unlucky enough to be a contemporary of Arkle and is almost forgotten by comparison. Both trained by Tom Dreaper (Paul Nicholls - hah!), they never raced each other.

It always amazes me how many people are completely unaware of the greatness of Flyingbolt, so to accompany your Arkle link...

New iPhone software 4.0 gettin shown as we speak. Engadet.com

Is there a release date?

anyone know of a release date. Was going through the web there looking but can't see any date set? Contract up last month so just holding of until the new release but if it's not out to the winter I think I'll just go on ahead and get the old one.

Didn't hear an exact date but they said Summer.

Note to those already with iPhones the new multitasking functionality will only work on iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 3G. The iPhone 3G and below won't support it.

The top 10 is Stephen Gately, bono, Adi Roche, Mary Robinson, Padraig Pearse, Noel Brown(who is he?), John Hume, Phil Lynnott, Michael Collins, James Connolly. That is probably in reverse order to reflect my opinions.

Holy Jesus!

is there any county in ireland that doesn't have Under-rated Scenery?

Longford :D

F*ck you Swamp-critter - there's lots of good lakeviews in North Longford.

It's true – there's some excellent vantage points in north Longford where you can view the beautiful lakes of Cavan.

Disappointing enough fields for the Guineas trials at Leopardstown on Sunday. Ballydoyle's horses looked a bit behind at the Curragh on Sunday so I wouldn't be backing any of them until May at the earliest. Tommy Stack will probably be the man to follow again.

Speaking of Ballydoyle horses I've been hearing very good things about an unbeaten Galileo colt called Cape Blanco. Murtagh was very impressed with how he worked at the Curragh last weekend. I'm already sitting on a 14/1 voucher on St Nicholas Abbey for Epsom but I may have an e/w saver on this lad. I wouldn't be getting too excited about any of the English colts and Godolphin are up to their old tricks already with Kingsfort already on the easy list. O'Brien would've trained the first four home in the Derby last year if it wasn't for Sea The Stars!

Hope you listened to yourself DH

Watched that programme with Paul Nolan on BBC4 last night. It was a very good insight into the horses environment, thoroughly enjoyed it even though I missed the first half of it. Think its being shown on Monday night on RTE.

For those of you who might have missed this last week – it's online here:

Excellent documentary and well worth the watch.
