As Boycey alluded to last week United are massively under cooked in comparison to most other clubs, how much of that is down to the manager I just don't know; The result wasn't a surprise to me and a good few others I know who were worried going into this weekend.

The long term issue at centre half will continue and probably won't be rectified until next season which I can deal with if somebody of Sancho's class comes in. Lindelof isn't up to it as Maguire's partner, he's a good defender when United sit back and counter but he's poor in the air and lack of pace means United are never going to challenge for a title with that centre half pairing.

Whether Ole is going to be a success I don't know so can only judge him on last season where he did a good job.

The voice of reason as usual on this thread.

The voice of reason wouldn't say let's blow £100m on Sancho and forget about the gaping holes in defence till next Summer!

Philippe Coutinho wins the Champions League, which triggers a clause in his contract, meaning Barcelona owe Liverpool another €5m.

5m that will probably be the sealer in signing Thiago from Bayern.

Mad!
No longer the case I believe
Has to win it with Barca. No big odds really in terms of whether the club will or won't sign Tiago. Would be useful in bringing Phil back on a year loan though as could be set off against a loan fee if Jürgen wanted to

Liverpool sold the rights to a finance house. The add ons were hedged for an up front payment.

watched the first three seasons of 'Animal Kingdom' on Prime. Loved it

The film is far superior to this series.

Was there a load of recent posts deleted from here?
Haven't noticed. What sort of posts?

Different bits and pieces. For instance some gimp had a post cryarsing about the celebrations tonight costing a million (they're not btw, they're costing 40k).

15 games unbeaten. 4 goals conceded and 38 scored.
Should be favourites for the title next year in that form.

Your words this time  ;D

Fernandes seems to have made a huge difference since his arrival. Haven't seen much of Utd this season so can any regular watchers tell me how is Pogba's body language? Can he and Fernandes play together? Where do Utd need to strengthen?

He's a great player. Won't be long before the big boys sit up and take notice  ;)

Looks like the CEO of crossfit can be added to the list:

There seems to be a few Irish Comedians (not that i've heard of them) getting outed due their past behaviours on twitter over the weekend also.

and some Irish musicians if you believe the accusations on Twitter.

Sad news. RIP Garda Horkan.
A Mayoman from Charlestown.
Reminded me of Morley and Byrne. 2 Mayomen based in Castlerea
Tony Golden who I think was the last Garda to die on duty was from Mayo as well.

As was Garda Michael Padden who was one of two Gardai to die when they were hit by a stolen car on the Stillorgan dual carriageway in 2002.

As were Detective John Morley and Garda Henry Byrne who were conicidentally also based in Castlerea.

Why does LFC have to hitch itself to every tragic death or cause? It is truly bizarre

they even laid a club wreath at the 9-11 monument in NYC when the club were playing games over there on a summer pre-season tour. Why?
Why are you so obsessed with Liverpool FC. It's truly bizarre.
Why?

He's follows Everton....the hate keeps them alive...

Just seen the photos of the Liverpool players taking the knee, using the #unitisstrength and #blacklivesmatter. Excellent

COUGH
SUAREZ
Nothing to see here

The club has literally zero morals. Zero.

Was only a matter of time before you'd jump on it.
No updates on the Everton thread recently to mark the 25th anniversary of the cup win??
Since 1995 literally zero trophies. Zero  ;D

Milan reached 3 champions league finals between 2003 and 2007, winning 2. They also reached the Q/F and S/F the other 2 years

United also reached 3 finals from 2007-2011. And one QF and a semi in the other two years too.

Only for meeting that Barca team in two finals, they could have had 3 titles.

Or zero if John Terry hadn't tripped on his arse.

I have to say I think it's getting less likely there will be football anywhere at this stage until a new season starts whenever that might be!

Looks that way alright.
