Bayern 1st goal tonight came at a great time if only United had held the lead for a little longer. Defending very poor on all Bayern goals. TBH Was always going to be uphill task not winning the home leg as 1-1 was never going to be enough against a side of the quality of Bayern.

I wonder how long before i see Man United in CL again on the evidence of this season it could be a long time  :(

United should go all out to win Europa League next year if they are in it. Winners of it qualify for Champions League.

Never heard that. Is that a new rule?
Yeah from next season on.

Source? ............................................................. ;)

He would say that.
Indeed. But I'd have thought that a member of the house of lords expressing a desire for the deputy first minister to be assassinated, would make the news coverage beyond just the Belfast Telegraph. Not a peep from BBC/RTÉ etc.
I don't know about RTÉ, but it's on BBC online and radio and on plenty of other news websites.
BBC went with it on their online news at 5:36 according to their news app. For most of the day, only the Belfast Telegraph was mentioning it. Still nothing from RTÉ.

An so they got there. Eventually.

Since 16:45, which was 5 hours before your post saying they hadn't mentioned it. But you carry on carrying that chip.

Next they will be telling us he was given a black card.

Mayo people suffer from this affliction worse than any other county I reckon. While a Tyronie will scout a Tyrone jersey and alternate it with their club, a Wexford one, a Dublin one, a Mayo one a Kilkenny one and back to a Tyrone one, in contrast a Mayohead will start with a Green and red Mayo one, followed by a red and green one, followed by a white with green and red trim, followed by the 1989 one, followed by the 1996 one, followed by the 2004 one, followed by the 2006 one, followed by a 1950 retro one, followed by last one before the current one etc. etc.

Interesting that the Pool-City goal difference is now down to 5 goals, if Liverpool were to win by 1-2 goals alone, Liverpool might be able to win league on goal difference, if they were to out-shoot City in the run in.

Shamrock Shore, would you have any info on where to park near Div 3 venues and the like that you no longer need? I'm sure Tony Fearon would be glad of this. Following comments on the Sky TV thread, I am going to emigrate.  :-[

Would there perhaps be a correlation between the amount of penalties given and the ferocity of Liverpools attacking line this season?
When United went through a spell of getting own goals in their favour every other week we were told that was the reason. So yeah I think it would be fair to say the same applies to Liverpool right now.

West Ham gotta be the next big money club, in debt for takeover, big new and iconic stadium, London based and marketable as "the Hammers". They even got an iconic anthem. They have a European pedigree, winning the Cup Winners Cup. They have had iconic players like Bobby Moore and Geoff Hurst.

It's not just Grimley's fault. The current Armagh team should be largely an efficient mix of the 2004 and 2009 All Ireland u21 and minor winning sides, but there has been a systematic failure to manage the progression of both squads into top class senior players.

I would argue that not one player from either squad has truly fulfilled their potential consistently at senior level.

Another thing, what was the big deal with the five or six changes immediately prior to throw in? I mean Donegal weren't likely to be thrown off by drafting in the likes of Moriarity and Vernon?
It's a lot harder that it looks, Tony
Underage success often means nothing at senior level.

Armagh have beaten 4 teams in the last year. Wicklow, Meath , Laois , Leitrim
They have lost to Galway *2, Cavan, Down, Donegal, Monaghan

They need to have a hard look at themselves.
On the positive side, Syferus will not be in the d3 thread next year.

I'm looking forward to the banter between the Sheepstealers and Heronchokers next year. I might just take a peek or two into the second division thread.

So that's 12 penalties for the pool this season.

Since Rogers kicked up a stink they've been getting a lot of favourable treatment

You are sounding like the Mancs on the redcafe.com forum in their many many currently active Liverpool obsessed threads, one of the dozen or so such threads is about Liverpool penalties. The threads are a pleasure to read as as a collective they admit Liverpools class but cannot handle it and have all become City supporters lol

So the Mancs are obsessed with Liverpool fans....

And you know this because you have been reading redcafe  :o

Haha, I look over opposition forums when we about to play the top 7 or 8 clubs. Last game against Utd. I could not believe their fans fall to a Mad Max state of post apocalyptic despair. Then I noticed all the Liverpool obsessed threads and have gone back to see from time to time as the threads grow and multiply, it is a beautiful sight.
