GAA Discussion / Re: TG4 biggest audience ever
May 01, 2007, 03:43:51 PM
RTE are pretty crap, that sunday sport show is a joke, i know this has been said before about them showin more of the "weekly club" segment than actual highlights.
TG4 coverage is second to none, sitting on a sunday (hangover or no hangover) since the start of the league and wachin one or two matches is great or even the saturday night matches. long may it continue

I remember hearin all this crap about mc gourty goin to casltewellan a few years ago when big PJ o'hare took over. a load of shite, just wants some attention before the championship starting. it wouldn't matter who was managing him, he'd still have arguments . Why should jody gormley have to put up with his shit, he'd be at the same stuff if he played for us

General discussion / Re: Price of Razor Blades
April 25, 2007, 01:26:46 PM
I've been using the single blade bic disposables for the last few years, think they are far better than those mach 3's and fusion shite. Got one of those vibrating fusions for christmas, what a waste of money , used it once gave it to the brother!!
Sure you think you have it bad buyin blades, guy i know uses one mach 3 blade per shave then dumps it!! Now thats expensive

I never said anything about his traning habits i was only stating a fact!! And i think he should be starting for the county.
But there's boys who come back into our club from the county setup and dont try to take over and have thier heads up their holes!!!
there is a diffeence being the main man on the pitch and danderin back in like you own the place

Charlie i've heard this aswell about hughes, apparently he danders back into saval when the boys there have been training all year and tries to take over.

Would have to go for Sean O'Neill from stories the aul boy and others have told me.just have a look at the awards, all stars, team of the millenium etc.
but the best i've seen play would have to be mickey linden, talk about pure skill and determination, for example kevin foley and mick lyons tackles/assaults on him in '91 final, just got up, no retaliation and beat them the way you should!!
