The final is nearly on us. Lets hope its a game to match the occasion and Waterford don't ruin it with puke hurling.
Tie up Gleeson and Waterford are very average.
Bubbles is a loss and Callanan is carrying an injury, but I still expect us to be too good for the blahs.
I hope Waterford wipe the floor with Tipp

;D

There was too much hype about Waterford for beating a terrible Cork.
Who is the person who thought it was a good idea to give John Mullane a newspaper and radio gig to tell us all how great Waterford are?

Is Joe Canning the most overrated player in the game right now?

No, too many Tipp hurlers ahead of him in the queue.
What difference does that make?
There aren't Tipp hurlers getting hyped up to the last by the media based on their free taking abilities.

Limerick were disappointing yesterday. They never looked like winning despite the extra man for 55 minutes and lacked the traditional Limerick intensity and aggression. According to Waterford local radio this morning the final venue most likely to be Limerick but will be confirmed in next 2 days.

I didn't get to see a whole pile of the game, but the bit I did see the Tipp backs didn't look overly under pressure with the Limerick forwards offering very little threat. Seamus Hickey looked to be having a mare out in the half back line..
The media seem to be claiming Limerick playing badly instead of focussing on how Tipperary hurled them off the field with 14 men!

ISIS is a product of

The Iraq war
US mideast policy
The collapse of neoliberalism and the impact on the periphery of Europe
Climate change
Sunni vs Shia
The end of Arab autocracy
The enforcement of US hegemony
Saudi
Population growth

You left out Islamic fundamentalism.
which is a product of the above. Esp US middle east policy
Never their fault, is it?

I agree that the US has contributed to the situation, but I'm not buying that these people were all decent skin nice guys with a tolerant view of the West and non-Islamic people until the US came along.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostasy_in_Islam#Apostasy_in_the_recent_past

It's classic left wing guff to blame the US for everything and give the Islamic nutjobs a free pass.

Horseshite. Wexford gave them their fill of it for years, and Offaly regularly thumped them in the 80s and i90s. Kilkenny's cakewalk is a relatively recent phenomenon.

And for long periods you're talking about Clare were piss, Waterford weren't much better and it was basically a toss up between Cork and Tipp with Limerick showing flashes every 20 years or so. Tipp should have a pile more All Irelands really.
Before Cody took over, Kilkenny had won 25 All Irelands and lost 22 finals. Not much better than a 50% win rate.
Tipperary had won 24 All Irelands and had only lost 8 finals, 75%.
From that you can see that Kilkenny were getting easy routes to finals where they got routinely picked off by stronger Munster counties. Tipperary's biggest obstacle was the much tougher Munster championship.

Given the location in the hurling centre right between KK, Cork and Tipp I don't understand how the Deise only have 2 all Irelands

KK, Cork and Tipp have won 72% of All Irelands. In the old days before the back door Waterford would have had to beat more than likely all three to win an AI. KK on the other hand would have had to beat only one! Winning is a tradition and when you don't have a winning tradition it's hard to break into that mold.
If there was a back door, there would have been a lot of Cork vs. Tipperary All Ireland finals. Kilkenny always had the luxury of a cakewalk in Leinster and they could show up fresh on All Ireland Sunday.

I can see the similarities with the North.
Invaders from the East start to establish themselves in ever increasing numbers and then drive out the locals.

Reported as 10 dead and 30 injured with potentially multiple attacks on metro stations. b**tards.
a lot of it traceable back to Hillary f**king Clinton. Libya is a catastrophe and she got money to Syria to get the civil war going. She is a grade A warmonger.
I love it. Blame everyone else except for the crackpots who carried out the atrocity.

Because their neighbours are superior vastly hurling counties. You could ask the same about Carlow, Wexford, Clare, Galway...
