Cue a Trump tirade about Savanna Gunthrie on Twitter in about 70 minutes for asking reasonable questions.

Have not seen The Capture posted on here but it was a decent program, looking forward to season 2.

Is this the most toxic thread on the board? I know we have a few ex pats living there and that's fine, but I fail to see the immediate interests of locals here on a country that really plays no large part in our political lives.

GFA
Brexit
Border
EU Trade Deals (US is Irelands largest exporter partner)
J1 Visas
Green Cards
Medical Research
US companies going back to US reducing jobs (over 100,000 Irish employees)
Investment into local economy by building US company offices/buildings (multi-billion)

All depend on who is in the White House and Congress.

Gayle Sayers, The Kansas Comet, running back for Chicago Bears passed at the age of 77.

If you never seen the movie Brian's Song, watch it!

It is about the relationship between Bear's teammates Brian Piccolo and Gayle Sayers during the 60's in the turbulent race segregration of the US.
Warning it is a tear jerker.

Charlie Daniels, 83, died today due to a hemorrhagic stroke.

Mr. Daniels made his first mark as a session musician in the late 1960s and early '70s, playing guitar, bass, fiddle and banjo on Nashville recordings by Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr and Leonard Cohen. He also produced albums for the Youngbloods, including the group's 1969 folk-rock touchstone, "Elephant Mountain."

But his greatest acclaim came as the leader of the Charlie Daniels Band, a country-rock ensemble that hosted the Volunteer Jam, the freewheeling Southern music festival, established in 1974, that featured Roy Acuff, Stevie Ray Vaughn, James Brown and the Marshall Tucker Band.

Gout flareup since Thursday so I had a chance to binge some TV shows from Amazon through my Firestick

Uploaded - guy dies and "soul" is transported into a download so he can continue to "live" and communicate with the living.  Com-Drama
7.6/10

The Boys - Superheros are real and are also a corporation with a very dark side. A few people are hunting them because of the dark things they have done.  Not really a superhero movie fan but this isn't like that.
8/10

Then started, Catastrophe, a British/American comedy about the guy knocking up the lady while on a biz trip to London. The show was slow but picked up pace and I'm at season 2 episode 3 and it is really funny.
