Very sad news.  Paudie was an institution in Cork GAA circles and his commentaries were memorable. Probably the best known and loved Kerry man in Cork. Condolences to all his family - you will be missed Paudie.

Peter Pringle - father of Thomas Pringle TD. Was convicted of the killing of Gardaí Henry Byrne and John Morley and sentenced to death.  The conviction was later quashed.

Too young to remember anything pre Euro 96, so for me this was the best international tournament I've watched for excitement, surprises and pure entertainment. The final round of group stage matches was great fun. The final a fitting end to the tournament - I don't think I've enjoyed a match as much before and certainly was the best final I can ever remember from any tournament.

Argentina certainly got the rub of the green at various points in the tournament but don't think anyone could argue they didn't deserve to win it. Messi certainly deserved the golden ball this tournament and nice to see him finally get land the big one.

Did England leave it behind them? Asking for a friend 😜

Enjoyable game between the Downs and Ratoath.  Decent standard given the conditions. Good fight back by the Meath men after conceding a goal.

Was that not a foul on the Errigal keeper for the Glen goal?

Free out without doubt. Strange not to consult umpires.

Good finish at Wentworth with Lowry and McIlroy in contention. Could be a 3 way play off with Rahm.
