Hardly a surprise McNulty doing OK on the doorsteps but unionists running a single candidate complicates things for him. Possbility of a perfectly split "green" vote gives Danny Kennedy a better chance than 33/1s on offer with William Hill.

It will be interesting to see how Nicholls chasers get on this time around. He hasnt won a chase at the Festival since Kauto Star's Gold Cup in 2009. He will say that he has his best team since then but an awful lot of these horses DB and SC amongst them have been to the Festival before and disappointed.

IMO you cant keep horses peaked all season long and he has a broader pot hunting focus which means his horses arent solely primed for Cheltenham like virtually every other runner.

Mullins could clean up on Tuesday but dont think he will have it his own way after that. Djakadam could win the Gold Cup though.

There is a good Cheltenham Preview report thread here for the festival addicts http://www.fatjockey.com/forum/showthread.php?4814-2015-Cheltenham-Festival-Preview-Night-Reports/page7

Negative equity is a real bar steward.

My 3 year fixed rate ended in 2010. I was on a good rate at 70% LTV. Have been stuck on standard variable rate ever since as bank did a computer generated revaluation post crash & informed me they would have no deal to offer, other than standard variable. It has been 3.89% for yonks.

Ive been lucky with the low interest rates, but the rises are not far away.

On the bigger picture im definitely with Mike here, but those trapped in negative equity - through no fault of their own - are suffering

People may have been unlucky and bought at the wrong time in the cycle but I dont buy into the no fault of their own idea. Nobody was forced to buy a house.

so Mother teresa vs Bill Gates. Save a few hundred people, or save millions of lives- who is a better person?

And on what basis do you make that judgement?

Is it better to do the right thing for the wrong reason or wrong thing for right reason etc ?

Danny Hughes was a top class player.

Something lacking in the county now - schools not as strong as before ?

A lot of that looks superficial. The golf club damage is the worst of it.

If they had cleaned up rubbish and put bed and stairs back together there would be no story.

True Gaels dont need google to know Kerry player stats are available from 1928 at http://terracetalk.com/kerry-football/clubs/

It's is a brilliant archive unmatched by any other county and reflects "religion" status of football in the kingdom.

The rest of us can only aspire to their level of devotion.

Do do McIlroy & Garcia use a Nike or Taylormade ball in the foursome??

Hope Sergio has a few spare ones...
