In fairness, i find Seafoid's posts to be great entertainment. That deep lying bitterness towards the Rossies that cannot be suppressed, once he touches a keyboard is providing some great one liners..

He likes to pick on targets that he perceives to have no comeback. That is why he always picks on the Kildare lads. I called him out on this a while back with the Cavan boys as well.

I prefer to banter with the Nordie lads. It is more craic when both sides have a decent comeback.

Israel didn't spent $100bn on a project over 48 years to now turn around and walk away from it.
Apartheid is the only game in town.

In all the time I've been on this board I have never seen anyone emphasize the "apartness" of jews and Muslim/arabs as you. Charity begins at home Seafoid.

ISIS have shown Israelies what the caliphate espoused by Hamas really means. The result is no surprise in that context.

The question now really boils down to whether the Palestinians will stop supporting Jihad. Do they want a state or a caliphate ?

"The Irish economy has the capacity to continue to grow rapidly without overheating, according to the senior European economist with Goldman Sachs.

Have we heard this one before?

Yes. We heard this 20 years ago and it was absolutely true for 7 years. Of course, the economy will eventually overheat in 2023, if we haven't learned anything, but there should be good progress in the meantime.
Only if the US economy takes off. I don't think it can.

What is your definition of "takes off" ?

Gays have a plethora of rights, they're not under threat from anyone. Its Christian rights that are abused nowadays.

wrong answer. Gays have the basic rights they are due as human beings. Someday you will see this Tony.

Stop feeding the beast.

My point is that the church has an opportunity. It has so much scope to reinvent itself in the face of the barbarity that is enveloping the world. People are trying to make sense of the world. The church should help not hinder.

What is the biggest threat to gay rights....Catholic fundamentalism or Islamic apologism ?

Ireland, fastest growing economy in the Eurozone

If we could reimagine the relationship between labour and capital this rollercoaster might flatten out.

The issue here is that for unionists and their many fellow travellers, any attempt to stop them engaging in cultural extermination is interpreted as an "attack". It is like asking a burglar to stop robbing houses and live like everyone else, and for them to claim that you were attacking their "culture".

honestly, these days, do you really feel culturally threatened by unionists ?

Everybody knows that they are on the defensive. Why rub it in? It is just history repeating itself.

rise above it.
