I think if more people attended religious services, whether mass or other Ireland would be a better place.

So sitting in a Chapel, for 1 hour a week will make Ireland a better place?
I've heard it all now.

Sure how can we ever get to be "multicultural" if we keep on doing Irishy things like that.

So going to a Catholic Mass is somehow part of our culture?
Catholicism is nothing to do with GAA. Nor should it.

Not stopping anyone going to mass, but it shouldn't be part of the Clar.

And to think some people think that Councils waste taxpayers money?

Tune in Next Week, Strabane District Council will agree to try and resolve Famines in Afria.

why punish the ordinary school and college players by scrapping the majority of their games purely to protect the relatively small number of 'stars'? The obvious solution is game management like the IRFU employ for Internationals with their clubs. Thus any inter-county player should be seriously limited as to the number of games they can play for teams outside their club/county.

This is the way it will have to go.
In order to preserve participation in our games (rather than just attendances), the club season has to be able to continue without being at the mercy of inter-county games.

at the minute it seems central council is all about getting 60k into croker for a NFL game, and making the Championship as good as the elite side of the game can be, which is fine.

But for the 95% of players who want to play games every weekend but can't, cause of 13 day rules pre championship etc its a mess. If proper structures aren't implemented soon to Increase the participation of gaelic games its going to die a slow death at grass roots level.

No club wants to cope without their county men, but its unrealistic for them to be available for every league game.

QuoteIts not the celled benefit that should be stopped its the child care benefit that should be stopped!  My partner and myself both work full time and have to pay £100 a week in child care.  However single unemployed parents or parents on DLA or job seekers allowance get the child care free!  So they sit at home and send their kids to the creche!  We are now looking to get a place for the kid in a pre school which will save us a bit of money, however these places go to kids whose parent are on job seekers allowance or DLA first.

I had heard about that before and its a Scandal of the highest order.
But you won't hear politicians mentioning it.
They know what side their bread is buttered on.

Its true that the working class term rarely exists anymore. Idleness is a disease in some parts.

Ian Duncan Smith is on the warpath on this very topic. N.I is gonna get a rude awakening shortly.

I await the socialists to appear here and say its all the states fault, cause there is no jobs.

Where did this notion of Irish Gov agreeing to it in St Andrews appear from?
Maybe they ain't so stupid after all. If it ain't in writing it, they never agreed it.

I don't understand how the Euro is still so strong against sterling.

Is sterling considered in a worse state than the Euro.

I assumed the Euro value will be in meltdown long before now.
Can anyone explain to me why?

Another summer of expensive holidays :(

Won't find to many of these grafitii artists up in Celtic Park on a sunday celebrating their irish culture. More likely up in the metro bar shouting on Chelsea.

You should really only be using a facebook page for the club site rather than a facebook profile.
That means there is no private messaging, you can't invite someone to join the site etc. Everything is on public display etc.

We have a profile, but switched to a page as it suits the purpose much better and can be administered by any number of people, using their own logins.

When you see the footage, it doesn't look good.
You always hope they have over-estimated the potential causalities, like on Sept 11.

You can prepare for an earthquake but there isn't much you can do but run away from a Tsunami.

what would be a good bar to watch 6 nations in Sligo?
There for the Ireland Wales game on 11th.
Any recommendations on good bars to watch it, and any other general recommendations for a stag in Sligo?

HiMucker will be along shortly to enquire about strip clubs...

GAA Discussion / Re: Kerry Club competitions
February 16, 2011, 09:09:21 AM
That is impressive stuff, running off so many games. It can only be good, for players, playing in so many games/competitions.
KerryMike - at underage are the setups similar? Is there divisional teams/divisional cups and leagues etc?

How many games would underage players get per year?

Seems Merv is happy to Inflate the UK's debt problems away.
So what people will lose in living standard they will gain from not having to deal with 5+% interest rate on their mortgage.

This is the UK's bailout for the Neg Equity general public.

can anyone who has been to Hawaii, tell me what would be the best way to split between the islands.
Thinking 5 days on Waikki beach  (Ohau) and 5 days on Maui.
This sound right, or should i stick to 1 of the islands?
Any recommended hotels would be good too!
