Anything that allows you to bye pass Newry is a good thing in my opinion and should be welcomed.

It's getting to the stage where the County Board need to take the imitative and stop back peddling. They should write to all of last years quads and ask for confirmation that they are available for selection. Give them 7 days to reply - the leagues gone now so forget it. They then arrange trails in hurling & football for all those from last year who want to play the games plus any others who the clubs reckon are good enough.

It there is any kind of protest at the trails those protesting should be charged with bringing the Association into disrepute and on conviction should be banned for 2 years.

The county board in Cork need to grow a pair of balls and move on.

In you make the play off in the Ulster league the games get very competitive. It's good preparation for the real thing.

Mod - is there any sanction for a poster who keeps reporting other posters for alleged breeches of the new Rules? I have no one in particular in mind  .

You must get sick of the same posters continually reporting minor breeches of the new rules and attempting to get fellow posters banned. It's getting like primary school where the teacher's pet in the front row is continually going "Miss, Miss look at him-  he's picking his nose!"  "Miss, Miss look at him - he's copying me!"

This place is becoming more politically correct than Lambeth Borough Council Lesbian/Gay/Transgender Sub committee.

As a Villa fan I cannot believe Carson's name was even mentioned, I do not rate him as a keeper at all and would prefer to start with Stuart Taylor than him.  
Think Villa will snatch the Young Player of the Year this season, either Young or Agbonlahor, next few months will determine which.  Can't see too many other obvious candidates, Richards maybe.
