What a joke! County board have done nothing, do you think either club really cares about the league!!! No pitch closures, no Dromore players suspended, joke fines. I can remember the phrase 'contributing to  a melee' used last year to suspend Ardboe and Omagh players who never threw a punch. Guaranteed some other club will suffer next year for a lot less, while Carrickmore will continue to act like thugs, and Dromore will continue their disgusting verbals.
Shame on both clubs and the county board.

Few changes all round Mc Bride away from Galbally, McGuckian from Derrylaughan, Canavan from Errigal, McBride from Carrickmore, Crozier from Omagh, Mickey Donnelly from Ardboe, and McIvor from Dromore?

I do agree Roddy Dromore and Ardboe in Omagh was a far bigger scuffle, players struck off the ball, players striking after being sent off, players manhandling officials, punches traded after the final whistle and nothing came of it! The County Board and the CCC are a joke, selective in their punishments and in which cases they fight. This has been a normal championship, nasty verbals, off the ball hits, half time run ins, and sidelines involved and it takes this in the last game of the year for people to criticise. Carrickmore have players who repeatedly cross the line, Dromore have players who repeatedly stoop to the lowest trash talk for every hour, we all can name them (except for refs/umpires/linesmen) but the sad truth is every club indulges these type of players who bring shame to their own club.

Agree with Rossa a few Errigal stewards in the middle of this would not have helped, they would then have been eithed attacked or blamed for the whole thing! After all it must be someone elses fault!!

Shocking scenes yesterday on and off the pitch. reminded me of Errigal Carrickmore game in Fintona many years ago, but what happend in the stand was ridiculous ALOT of outsiders could draw up a list of men from both clubs you think were involved and you would be probably get 95% of them right. These 'grown men' Will now claim innocence and blame others for their actions the clubs should lead the way and tell these idiots we don't need or want you associated with us. But that will never happen. The amount of women and children visibly affected by it was obvious to all. The CCC will make some noise throw out a few suspensions and then reduce them at a later date. There is no place for these men in our national game.
On a side issue could refs linesmen and umpires do something about the constant verbals creeping into the game. I know all teams have men who are guilty of this but i feel this year it has reached an all time low with some of the remarks made and the lack of punishment for it. Just a personal gripe but this sledging leads to incidents like yesterday.
No doubt Tyrone club football will make the news headlines on BBC and UTV tonight for the first time in many years.  :(  >:(

Ricey was his usual self today alright. McCusker was brilliant but best players were McGuckin and Gilligan Dromore slow to make changes.

Hard to believe I am saying this but his performances this year in the few games I have seen have been good. The Stewartstown Galbally game and first Dromore Ardboe games were worst refereeing displays this year. Those two displays arguably could have resulted in the other team winning but that's why we watch. Also laughable that CCC can be so firm about Murphy when turning a blind eye to so much else this year.  As for the assessors the rule of thumb is if both teams are angry and the crowd is frustrated then you are sure the assessor will give a good report! Enough said!

Sensible post loughshore lad. I think Coleman heading to the states was the difference this year even though he was back in time for champ. Before he left he was playing excellent and Ardboe were going very well had he continued his form I think they would have beaten Dromore. Seperate issue is there an actual offence for goading a player or verbal abuse? What is it and what is its punishment? Never seems to b one refs use.
