£200 or €200 withdrawal in each rolling month, that's the only downside. If you're using it to pay with card then it's hard to beat, have saved a fortune using it

Dukes was popular for a while in the early noughties, not too sure how long that lasted.

The Hatfield changed from having a few students in supping over a few pints to being packed back then too. Remember toss the boss or something, you flipped a coin and if you won your next round was free. Roy giving bad manners serving up pints and cruncher playing a couple of nights a week.

Orpheus was the bar in behind the holiday Inn and the nightclub downstairs was the Underworld. They used to have foam parties in it.

Last I heard Decky (McFerran I think) from renshaws was in Oz. Sanj opened the Black Box in the Odyssey, that might be why they let renshaws go.

Great memories

General discussion / Re: Parking Ticket Question

My wife has one of these parking tickets from Car Park Services. She was parked in a car park near Botanic in Belfast and forgot to start the counter on that Park Mobile app.

Under normal circumstances I'd ignore. However she uses that car park on a regular basis. Can they clamp her at a later date for non-payment of the parking ticket?

Fr Gerard McAleer I believe...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-45779109

A parish priest in the Archdiocese of Armagh has stood aside from his position due to concerns brought to the Diocese and reported to the Gardaí.

A statement from the Catholic Church was issued on Sunday afternoon.

It said the information received is historical and relates to a time prior to the man's ordination as a priest.

The statement added that the relevant statutory authorities in Northern Ireland have been informed.

Declan Rice gone to England! :/

https://www.balls.ie/football/breaking-sky-sports-claims-declan-rice-chosen-england-397977
Wonder how many games he will get
a couple of friendlies against Albania and Mongolia.

That would be sound, he'd still be eligible!

Would he?
If he switches to England then he cant switch back. Ie if he does the fifa paperwork and then never plays for them he cant come back kind of hope thats what happens to  him and Grealish

I thought that. Didn't think he'd still be eligible once the paperwork was done

Looks like my oneplus3 has bit the dust.
Any recommendations ?
Was looking at the Xiaomi Mi 8.
Any one any experience of Xiaomi's and getting one ?

If you like OnePlus the new ones are incredible and the 6T will be coming shortly. They've got pricier though.

A budget option is the new Pocophone they is being touted as a OnePlus challenger.

The Motorola G series are always good budget phones too.

I had a OnePlus 2 and upgraded to the 5T earlier in the year. Brilliant phone

How important is it to get the tropical vaccinations? It sounds mad expensive here in Dublin. Can your GP give them to you any cheaper?
Is Malaria more of a problem up North than down South or everywhere?

I think we'll just stay in Bangkok 2 nights, then 5 days in Chiang Mai and then just fly to Krabi for the 4 or 5 days with maybe a day trip to Ko Muk. Presume ferries out to it or day trips from Krabi?

I saw this? Any other advice? Its 16 years since I was there last in Samui and Pha ngang
http://thewanderlustkitchen.com/39-things-need-know-traveling-thailand/

Any suggestions of what to do up North?

Chiang Mai was grand without vaccinations, think we took them when we went further north than that - Chiang Rai

Gavin Devlin biting back at Sean Cavanagh in the Irish News today

"We've been very, very close in recent years and we didn't get over the line to win an All-Ireland. Maybe that's what was missing, that calibre of captaincy"
