We were well beat by Glenariffe 1-14 to 0-7, but we were minus over 20 players from the panel. I even had to make an appearance. We will be far stronger next week when Rossa visit Dungiven. Any other Derry side result's????

Roost is dead on, good enough wee crowd, mostly 'young professional's' i think, similar crowd to mchugh's. Just music in the background, no real dance floor or anything like that. seems to be getting more popular

thought i heard that milk was closed down a few weeks ago.

Aye lot of the same bars as the lad's. There is a ile down round the catherdral, best of them would be white's tavern or McHugh's. not too fond of ollies or the pothouse cause there are too many pounces running round, both men and women. The bot is hit/miss not for late 20's. Roost is a new wee haunt of our's, its beside victoria square, good wee bar. Nite club wise, very little- there is thompons if ur into the dance music or if ur plastered and want to keep the nite goin, yellow the same, but ull get ur eyes opened in that place!!!!!!

QuoteTis indeed, they are playing Bredagh in the first round, there are a few Down clubs in there, the three Ards clubs, Bredagh and carryduff. I cant see a Donegal team playing in the South Antrim league?

It wouldn't be unheard of for a team to travel that far for the Antrim League, sure Strabane were in the league for a few seasons a couple of years ago travelling as far away as Glenarm for games.

Setanta are St Paul's/ Gort Na Mona and few other clubs who didnt have the number at underage. They are sponsored by the hurl makers in bfast. They were down playing our u16's today. Aint a great side.

Seven students in trouble arrests

Trouble broke out in the area on Sat Patrick's Day
Seven of the 19 people arrested during St Patrick's Day trouble in south Belfast's Holyland area were students at the University of Ulster.

The university has said of those, one has been charged and police inquiries into the other six are continuing.

It added that its own disciplinary procedures would not be limited to those arrested or charged.

House parties in the area spilled onto the streets before the trouble, and a minority threw missiles at police.

A car was also burnt-out.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Richard Barnett said any of students found to have brought the university into disrepute would face disciplinary action.

"Whilst recognising that the vast majority of our students are socially responsible and hard working, a handful of students has brought disgrace to their fellow students and to the university, and misery to local residents," he said.

"They must be under no illusion that this type of behaviour will be tolerated or excused.

"We will be working closely with Belfast City Council and other agencies to address the complex situation that has given rise to this problem."

Queen's University has said one of their students was amongst the 19 people arrested.

saw this on the bbc website, only 8 out of the 19 students

As for a few years ago outside renshaws that was usual started by idiots from a certain mountain area of south derry, who had a long running fued's with the bouncers coming into the city.
