When you are going for 5 in a row and the success seems to be continuing then its easy enough to stay and win trophies

Guaranteed part of history, life-time guarantee of fame and and the great opportunities that will come from that....easy to sell that over the limited chance of actually making it in Aussie rules.

But imagine how many Dubs youngsters will never get the chance to represent Dublin? To make the best 15 in any county is a great achievement but in the capital city with a million population is something else.

Other thing with the Dubs is how many of their players even suit the Aussie Rules?? You're looking at Fenton, and he blossomed too late to be picked up. Other than him, only Paul Flynn stands out as being similar in athleticism to the other guys selected.

Baby Jesus part of the setup - I cant contain my excitement - Finally a player that will excite!!

Is it true? How will he excite when we have no-one up supporting him. Still worry about his stature.

Ironically by opposing a UI at every turn round and indeed opposing everything they now appear to have pushed the issue front and centre.
I was talking to a friend today. We'd both be of a similar political persuasion. We both would aspire to a UI but never really seen it as achievable certainly not in the near future. That's changed. We both see a unification vote being winnable in the next 5-10 years.

All thanks in no small part to SF and the IRA. You can send your thanks to Slab and the boys anytime you want Trailer.

Slab the big Republican lol. You have to hand it to him, he played SF & IRA supporters like a fiddle.

Priti Patel is going to starve the nation of Ireland;

https://www.thejournal.ie/brexit-threat-food-shortages-ireland-4381228-Dec2018/

Like the Brits have never did that before.

Odious bunch of f**kers.

Patel has an arse on her that must already stop a lot of Jammie Dodgers making it to our shores.

She's like Emma Pengelly though, you'd mount it in a heartbeat....evil and all as she is.

See Barry Mcelduff back in the game.

Jobs for the boys. Keep the gravy train running. Choo, Choo!!

Yeah. They are all soooo wealthy. Ching ching.

He had no case to answer according to the prosecution service, yet stood down. Whereas the DUP...

Not quite right, PPS took a decision not to prosecute based on the probability of achieving a conviction, not confirmation of innocence.

Glad to see hm back. One of the harder working politicians and represents his constituents real well. Was absolute bollocks that he had to resign anyway.

Has he done anything that bad? Someone mentioning #metoo. FFS, he's stroking an arm. Someone mentioned Angels above and they're right, christ can he not take a drink and relax. Anyman advocating for his dismissal, probably gets up on the wife with the lights on.

Not really a surprise, given his health issues (brain cyst?) as well as that chaos at the start of the season.

He should have been fired after the scandal broke but OSU is as morally bankrupt as Meyer. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

The Hernandez podcast series was good as a human interest story in that it put his whole life in context but it really didn't tell us anything we didn't already know about college or professional football. It did confirm Meyer and Belichick are tosspots, though.

I'd never heard his high school quarterback talking about them having a sexual relationship together. Had you?

That's why I said the human interest element was good. It was known before now he was gay, though.

He wasn't gay. He was bi it seems. I really don't know what you wanted OSU to do about Meyer though? There was no clear evidence.

Appears to be the case that when he was 20 he was going out with/had a one night stand with a consenting 17 year old. He subsequently sent an image of her to his mate.

Obviously, a silly act (and illegal) but to see some of the twitter reactions you'd almost think he'd a hard drive stuffed with hardcore child pornography.

I'd imagine he'll be given some form of suspended sentence.

I think she was only 16

must be a serious lack of talent in tyrone if we think we need to convert our keeper into an outfield player.

What are you talking about? He's an outfield player that also does nets. He was the most effective sweeper in the club championship and if he was a random club  player would get his chance based on that.

Any word on who all called up?

Have to agree with STG. He's a goalie and wouldn't get a chance if he was a normal outside player. I heard a list of names mentioned and it was either men that were there before, or defenders. Why not bring in 3 or 4 19 or 20 year old inside forwards who are at least 6 foot tall and mould them into what we need?
