In the month of June I saw 5 guys with cruciate injuries in my clinic from just 2 small club teams. ... the same 2 teams had only 1cruciate injury between them in the previous 2 years ......

QuoteBut on a point of information, that bespectacled clown highlighted during the melee in Longford - despite the colour of his bib - was actually a Longford official ...
......actually the strength and conditioning coach. . Has  become quite famous in the past few weeks. ..... made a very funny appearance on twitter after the Limerick game..... http://twitter.com/unofficialgaa/status/351067400906616832/photo/1

QuoteIf you watch the video Down had at least 2 goal-den chances before the end so it looks like youse were holding on a bit now.
. Only saw your response now any craic. What the video doesn't show is the missed Longford chances including hitting the post for another goal in the middle of the second half....they weren't actually hanging on that much. Downs second goal...not shown also was a complete fluke in the last minute of regular time...it was only at that point did it look like Down might have a chance of getting anything out of the game...and fair play to them they did..and yep was fairly sensitive for a few days alright!!!!. I believe Down managed a similarish feat in the final.

Not sure the ladies game should count.....there were 8 minutes of injury time and nearly half the comeback came in this surprisingly long period!!

Call me biased  ;) but all I see is a Square ball and an  invisible foul!! The goal was actually scored almost 6 minutes into injury time. With about 5 minutes to go it was 3.07 to 1.06 and down got a freak goal. .. point attempt dipped just under crossbar just with angle of post.

Was at game and currently sitting in pizza express at next table to skrtel. Half hour ago was very unwillingly interviewed by bbc about saurez incident. ..interviewer (man!) told me I had nice eyes!!! Anyway one thing that I find strange is the general consensus is that it is worse than trying to break someone's Leg. I'm fairly sure that ivanaovic would rather wake up this morn with a couple of teeth marks in his arm than a broken leg or am I missing something?? As regards actually carrying out the act of biting someone. .. fairly stupid to be honest and hard to comprehend whats going through a lads head.

To be honest love the show but actually thought the presenters were the weak point. A bit self absorbed for me especially "soccer expert" ken early. You'd think reading here the show was gone.  Just listening there and don't think it's lost a while lot.

Have the s3. Got for nothing just by moving to 3 and having billpay. Think it a brilliant phone. Have absolutely no complaints.  Had previous samsungs which froze but was told in shop that these issues fixed on s3. Have about 6 months and has never frozen.

Dromard isn't a great pitch.  Facilities top notch.  Not a prunty pitch. Is usually wet enough when weather not good.  If killoe, drumlish, colmcille, abbey etc aren't playable then it more than likely not.

QuoteIt was orginally fixed for Killoe, thought Ardagh parish was close to there, obviously not by the looks of it
Indeed the parishes themselves might have a small border but definitely come fairly close to each other at one point but Killoe in particular is a very big parish and I'd say the pitches are about 15 km apart

And when you've found killoe you better head on over to Ardgh to see the game!!!!! Half way between edgeworthstown and Longford. Will be signposted in Edgeworthstown. Pitch is just outside the village but not the edgeworthstown side. Very good pitch but not even certain if there is a stand.

Cheers lads.  Players entrance sounds like a good idea.  As it's not a junior b game in longford I expect they be there more than 5 mins before game. Hour and half be plenty I guess.?
