Another point, we always enter it. Division one or two, why are clubs not forced to enter a team in such an important age group

I agree u21 is an important age group, for me even more important than minor. But simple fact is some clubs just do not have the numbers. Especially those clubs with an already small pick. The bigger division one clubs, Clonoe, Errigal, Dromore, Coalisland etc will have no problem but for majority of others you are lucky if you could pull 15 out to play considering they could be away at Uni/Work/Senior Priority etc
Only don't have the numbers because there is no cautions if they dont field. Its not pushed enough

This is one of the dumbest things I have read. You clearly don't know how difficult it is in a small club! I think its a disgrace coalisland playing in grade 2, they had another team on the bench for gods sake

Well done trillick. Could be a few more coming their way with that panel. Errigal were such a dissapointment. They dont seem to have a back bone for when it matters!

Im.not getting into a abortion debate on a gaa forum which is exactly my point

I agree, leave it at that, keep this forum strictly sensible football talk

Strictly football? my a*$e I think its ridiculous for tyrone gaa getting involved in things like that. Garvaghey should be strictly football and other gaa sports not for grand standing political and religious statements.

Sexist much? Nobody advocated barring Mickey Harte, Joe Brolly or Eamon McGee from GAA-owned facilities when they made similarly political statements as private individuals.

Sorry what are you talking about? Where did I say anything about barring anyone? I don't care what her opinions are or who he/she is. They should not be making political/religious statements and portraying it like she is speaking on behalf of tyrone GAA. Which was clearly the aim. Garvaghey was bought and paid for by members and clubs for GAA purposes. It should not be used to promote a political or religious ideology

Yes 100%. A handful of old men trying to make a statement on behalf of tyrone is a disgrace in my opinion. Keep that stuff away from the gaa

Can any one explain why the bbc are doing an interview from garvaghey tonight in respect of abortion. Whatever your views surely this is a terrible step from tyrone. It looks like turone gaa have made a political or religious stance! This is a very difficult issue for a lot of people

True, but he sliced one wildly up in the air costing possession going for a score, couldn't really run and he lost the ball over at the far side of pitch wide too under little pressure, believe he also dropped a shot short as well.

Carrickmore were the victors but wouldn't be writing tales of a great last hurrah of the old guard there lads. Barry Daly was much, much more effective than either Gormley or Donnelly if we are being honest. He just wasn't on the pitch at the end.

I seen it totally different. Gormley made a couple of mistakes when he came on for sure but he was winning ball in the half fwd line at a time when they really need to. He made a couple of excellent wee runs to get the ball so don't know how he wasn't moving freely. He has obviously slowed down at that age.

Donnelly as well picked up the ball and drove straight at edendork a few times. Did Gormley not win the ball at the end and win the free that won it. He nearly had a goal to but fouled just outside.

strange how people can see a game so differently and i'm no fan of carrickmore

I thought last nights game was fantastic from a neutral especially the 2nd half. Mc curry was unmarkable for about 15 mins in 2nd half. But cometh the hour cometh the old guard. Mark donnelly, marty penrose and conor gormley were giants! Tough on edendork but i glad its carrickmore having a crack at errigal.

Marty penrose definitely fouled for 1st goal just a very cute nudge from an experienced head

The way some of them got on in Omagh last year was disgraceful.

Would habe been nice to have been allowed buy a cup of tea in the main stand last year, but werent allowed in by the local stewards.

Stands were a long way from the pitch, but to be fair that was Mickey Harte's decision

There's tea available at the shop beside the toilets at the gortin road entrance. But let's be honest, it's not tea that they were after was it?
Can you understand how you can't be allowed into the stand when the stand is all ticket and reserved seating? Sure it would be chaos!! It's the equivalent of having a hill 16 ticket and walking across the pitch to the Hogan because you wanted to meet your mate in the bar...

Didn't want to get into the stand, just a cup of tea from the clubhouse. The stewards spiteful enjoyment at telling pensioners they coudn't get a cup of tea was particularly distasteful.

This is incredibly stupid. as has been pointed out, if the stand was not sectioned off it would be a nightmare. Unfortunately the clubhouse is beside the stand. Also pointed out you can get tea at both sides of the terrace section as there are 2 shops and tea stands.

I would say it will end making tyrone more popular in the south. These idiots time these marches every tyrone to cause most disruption and they love it. Most of them not from the mixed towns they are marching through. Im.not bothered in the slightest
