this is a nightmare for owen roes having to travel all the way to glenelly. could they not stay overnight in the brack and set off early saturday morning and take a collection along the way. holy god such a whinge.

And people from Omagh wonder why they everybody is delighted to see them beat.

Agreed. One of my highlights in 2014 was seeing Slaughtneil win the Ulster Championship by a point. Or perhaps it was seeing Omagh lose it by a point.

Funny you should mention that - I see they did the u16 double this year in grade 2 - congrats to the lads involved but should a club with the pick they have not be automatically grade 1?

I do agree. I'm confident they've put their teams in lower grades to ensure that they win titles. There U16 Lads definitely should have been Grade 1- just look at how easily they won in the finals. The Girls also easily beat Owen Roes in their final.

There's nothing worse than when any Club does that. It means that Club's who are in the correct grade dont get a chance and the players don't develop because they only play easy games.

Perhaps there is some rivalry tonight between Owen Roes and Omagh. After all, Omagh did beat Owen Roes in the Under 16 Ladies Grade 4 League tonight. BTW when was the last time Omagh played any team in Grade 4? Do they play across the pitch at that level?

Embarrassing for Killyclogher. After all the build up and hype they fell flat on the day. Trillick weren't distracted by all that build up and went in under the radar. Too many blue sheep, flags, bunting, school visits and merchandise selling by Killyclogher instead of keeping their eye on the challenge of the game.

Wise up. I don't imagine the players or management were painting sheep.

I know that. It's not the players fault. But it certainly would have added unnecessary pressure. Every club has done it at some point. The non players who build things up way too much to a distracting, unnecessary level. It would have been better to keep things low key and go in under the radar. Trillick were more than likely fueled by everything Cappagh has been promoting over the last few weeks.

interesting that everyone reckons its killycloghers to lose. dangerous thinking that. 2 teams in the final the last i looked. trilick are there as worthy finalists and thats all killyclogher are finalists at this stage. if trillick change tact slightly lets say and play 13 men behind the ball then i make this game a kick of the ball. killyclogher have been impressive at times but at other times ordinary so i wouldnt have them overwhelming favourites. its forecasting wet slippy day. killycloghers tackling will have to be spot on as if not i see them conceeding a bucket load of frees to the best free taker in the county. trillick by 2.

Of course an Omagh man would have Killyclogher to lose. They would hate to see their near neighbours celebrating at Healy Park.

At the minute Urney have the chance to win the Intermediate Championship and be promoted to Div 1. They are also likely to have to play in the League relegation playoffs. What happens if they win the Championship but also lose the playoff and get relegated in the League? Has this happened before?

there's been more talk about McAleer and Rushe from these "Lack of interviews" than post match interviews would ever have got them.. am sure they're happy enough
They aren't
sure maybe Pampers and Kleenex will sponsor Tire own next year?

I'm sick of listening to your drone on, you little b**ch. Perhaps you should concentrate on your own failure of a County team rather than Tyrone?

Who appoints the County manager? Is it the County board or the club delegates

I vaguely remember Mickey's position being ratified for his second term via club delegates of which I was one.

Or is it 'Here's your choice. Take it or tough?"

All County Managers have to be ratified by Club's at County Convention. However I think Club's are presented with a shortlist of applicants to choose from.

Word has it Mickey will only get his contract extended if he ends the RTE boycott because sponsors not happy and reportedly McAleer and Rushe will drop the sponsorship if the boycott doesnt end. Personally i think the RTE thing has gone on to long now and overshadowing the progress Tyrone are making.

At the start of the year I was in favour of ending the boycott but after RTE's and The Sunday Game's persecution of Tyrone this year I don't think we should talk to them again. The sponsors are getting good coverage on Sky and on RTE. What are they missing out on? - One interview after the game? It's hardly a deal breaker.

And do be fair it's hardly making any difference to McAleer and Rushe. Nobody watching The Sunday Game is going to see McAleer and Rushe in an interview and then suddenly hire them to build a 30 storey building are they?

Sure where did they learn that negative crap from?  The very essence of gaelic football is too attack and at pace. Let players express themselves! I'm from the North by the way and am totally ashamed that Tyrone call that football. Tyrone are destroying the game. Enjoy the final possibly Dubs v Kerry, u will then see real football.  As I said out Tyroned by Kerry. Up the kingdom.

Surely your aware that Donegal popularised the defensive, cynical style of play. Dublin also use mass defence. Tyrone's system only reacted to all the other teams that had overtaken them with a defensive system.

Yeehaaa, Tyrone being out Tyroned by the Kingdom. Whinging hoors them Tyrone. When do the theatrics/acting classes recommence?

Why are you not complaining about Kerrys Cynical play? Should have had at least 4 black cards. You dirty hypocrite! You were quick to attack Tyrone last week. Kerry had 13 men behind the ball today.

The CCCC, RTE and Southern Media are a disgrace. Should be ashamed of themselves. What a joke!

Beragh should have too much for Drumquin, and would expect Aghaloo to overcome Drumragh.

The other two ties are harder to call.

I don't know. Drumquin will push Beragh who are a bit and miss team. While Aghaloo needed a late injury time goal to get a win against Drumragh in the league. Could go either way.
