Gotta say the fry always works for me, as does the hair of the dog!
One an auntie of mine uses is a raw egg, in a glass of milk with tabasco sauce and worcester sauce and salt and pepper!!!!
Needless to say I've never tried it!  ;)

Fair play to the new sponsor and as always TG4 who again show that they are the real national broadcaster when it comes to showing and promoting Gaelic games.

Totally agree phpearse, kudos to TG4.

Thanks lads, it's for the wifes father, he was at the matches in the sixties, just thought it would be nice to remind him of those heady years.
Lecale that would be excellent if you wouldn't mind, i could meet up during the week, there's a pint in it for you as well.
p.s i'll obviously sort you out with expenses too.

Have just posted this on the Non GAA section but just in case some of you don't venture into that strange domain  I thought that I'd chance my arm here as well. Sorry for the duplication!  :-[

Need to get my hands on a couple of DVD about Down football team, a christmas present (not for me mind)!!!
Anything to do with the 5 Sams or the history of the county team, would have to be available in Belfast though.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.   :)

Best Gaelic moment ever: September 1992 to August 1993 the year that the best team in Ireland won the Sam, long will it live in folklore, only problem, is that the team only got over the hangover last year....!
