What was the point of bringing Voronin back if he won't play him in even the Carling Cup?

i would have thought the best business would have been to get rid of him when he was still worth something and a few of the german clubs were interested instead of keeping him to rot in the reserves and then let him go for free like he did with Penant

There is no feeling like going to Dublin on AI weekend when your county is involved. Pride, passion and panic.There is an argument for abstinence so that you can remember it all but pints with family and friends, meeting people you half-know, have played against but never spoken to, celebrities who become your new best friend, former players from other counties,girls (if you're looking), guards and gaa druids make it magical.If your county is not involved, it is still memorable. I see it as payment for all the hours we put in training, coaching, washing jerseys, selling tickets and attending meetings- when it works out; we're well paid.Good luck to all 4 counties, I will be missing my first one of the new millennium but there's always next year in the GAA.

How has Plessis been playing lately? There was big hope for him at one stage but I know he's young. Always good to get a win over the Mancs.
Like you say any sort of a win this weenend at all would be good, just to keep the momentum going. And if Torres were to have a flyer aswell I wouldn't be dissappointed!!

yeah any sort of win would do this weekend, but a performance from torres would be a nice plus

I thought most of the team played reasonably well, but none played really well. Bad decision making from 30 yards, mostly lads shooting when they should have been looking for a through ball, cost us I thought. But a win is a win, and fair fooks to Kuyt, all game he was looking for a rebound like that, so it was no surprise that he was on hand when the keeper did spill one.

alot of OK performances, but not many really good ones.
Lucas was steady in the middle, kuyt & benny full of running  but no real spark from the big two of torres and gerrerd.
As usual this season johnson and Insua were 2 of the better players, which is a good improvement rom the last couple of seasons were they have struggled for decent full backs.
Hopefully this aqua fella will slot in and give that bit of creativity thats missing

I have a feeling Torres might not play tonight. He doesnt seem 100% fit and could probably do with a rest. Don't think there's much point playing Mascherano either as he picked up a knock for the Argies, so I'd wait till the weekend to bring him back.

I'd keep the same formation as Burnley, i.e. Benny behind the striker. I <think> I'd like to see Babel get another chance.

Terrific stuff from Jerome. It's good to see someone taking actually providing something that the BBC refuse to cover. I hope it is a raging success for him and this is the first small steps that will lead to GAA TV.

Wasn't that great. 20 seconds of each game, not even showing the goals? If it was BBC or UTV they'd be slated on here.

wouldnt agree with that, if you watch it again on the video of jerome quinns , he definatly picked it up clean of the ground,so in that regard, the refferee, got it right.There may have been a case for a fre out for mccarron being fouled but.
Thought the situation with the water carriers was a joke, both teams had men constantly running on the the opitch, and as you say a few times trying to block players runs etc, at one stage, errigal had 3 men on the pitch and dromore 2. its only a matter of time before this sparks a row.
