GAA Discussion / Eric Millar
December 06, 2006, 09:02:53 AM
Have just heard on the radio that Eric Millar former Ireland and Lions Rugby star lined out for the Dubs in a challenge against Louth at full forward.

Id say a few fullbacks would have worried faces if he came running into the full forward position at the start of a game

Done a bleep test on a saturday morning after the college formal the night before,

The majority of us hadnt been home and turned up in tuxs. The two managers werent best pleased since we had a mcrory quarterfinal the following saturday. Probably the worse experience ever of doing the bleep test

Im sure the Harps will wait til after the outcome of sundays events before taking the field bearing in mind there could be a number of suspensions dished out to the nab, making an easier progression for them into the semi's :D

I thought Bellew might have got the Fullback position, Only seen Owens play once and that was against Armagh and he was cleaned on the day by Clarke and was guilty of constant fouling. He must have improved in the next game or 2 to justify the award

Spirit of 98, leave the Ballycrummy 5 out of it.

I had nothing to do with Rufus my good friends handle hijacking :)
