Shaws Rd, it has probably been put out by the Kevin Mc Gourty publicity machine. If being a top inter county footballer was measured in how good you were in going crying to your favourite little rag (The Irish News) he would be the best of them all. Mc gourty has to realise you have to do it on the pitch, for me he is the most over rated player in Antrim, when has he ever performed for the county?

We need to stop buying second rate crap like Pennant and go for the real, to use an american phrase, "marquee" players if we are to ever win the league again......

Just read on Hogan Stand that Declan Grunter wont be playing on Sunday for Cushendall, but from what i have heard its horseshit and he will be lining out

Cushendall are not entering it because they have been training pretty much non stop for the last year so they dont need the extra workload. It is in my opinion a half arsed competition, we rested players last year because we couldnt afford any injuries, at the end of the day teams have 2 priorities, to either stay in Div 1 of ACL or to win the championship......

I wouldnt exactly say Tony Montana was being ridiculous. I think he had some fair comments even though he can get a bit carried away at times, there are people in Cushendall who will tell you they are the weakest Cushendall team to go down south. Its all very well having a well drilled outfit but you need something extra as the bar will be raised several notches in terms of opposition they have faced so far. I would love to see them sticking it to the knackers but i just dont think they have enough class..........
