Any win over England is to be relished, but especially at Twickenham......I've been there too often in the 80's when we were stuffed and had to endure "swing low".
Johnson was a great player/captain but does not appear to have much in the way of manners or grace.
Another Triple Crown?  Here's hoping.

" Essien's absence is a handicap here."

Agree, totally different team with him at the helm.
Still expect Chelsea to win league.

34 AI titles speak for themselves....so no it's not over-rated. Mayo and Armagh have won recent U-21 titles (since02) but no AI senior since then.

Harps beat Ogs by a point ;D

:D ;D

Great result from a side that struggled to field earlier in the year.........credit to the management team of T.McCarron and J.McConville, the team played very well in patches, a lapse at the start of second half saw them concede 2 goals and 2 points but they hit backwith 5 points of their own to win by a single point. Harps full forward got MOM and fully deserved took great scores with both feet, Ogs no9 was best player for them.

It's like asking 'what's your favourite way to have your balls chopped off?'

The Simpsons is shite, always has been always will be. American Dad, Family Guy and Futurama piss all over it from a great height.

Get you back to your glue! :D

While I don't agree with hitting any official I have certain sympathies...........lets be honest..........name 5 top class referees in GAA........difficult...ok name 2.

A lot of referees want to be the centre of attention.........and most achieve this by crazy decisions.............players train 2-3 nights per week and have to put up with complete clowns most of the time

the solution IMHO is pay them a decent fee and have regular fitness/rules tests.

Bumped into a player today and he would love to have a copy of the two matches.....I offered him a copy of the final but he doesn't like horror movies. ;)

Seriosly if anyone can help please let me know.........thanks.

El correcto foinntamhnach,

i referee within Armagh and the test we had to pass was as follows:

For all referees:
6 laps continous running untimed
sprints out to and backwards from endline to 21m and then 45m and finally midfield.

Not too bad by any standards, but in all honesty when even at AI Standard will a referee have to run 3200m without any break in play where some breath can be retained. Although in saying that for most proper referees fitness isnt a problem as most are ex players or in my case, part time players.

Does McClatchey do his in a car!! :D

Rather surprised to see Dominic Clarke inside the pitch enclosure tonight.
Clarke, who is manager of Harps, was sent off in a League game less than two weeks ago.
Anyone from the Harps throw any light on this?

Yeah he's very friendly with Fergal Logan ;)

The championship venues one is a weird one. It always seems to be Abbey Park, Cross Cruppen and Keady. I rememebr years ago Killeavy use to host a few and the Bridge (if they sorted out that hill  :P) would be good venues too.

Why was the Dromintee v Cross U21 final held at the OGs ground, was that predetermined before the finalists were known?

Probably because it was one of the few venues that were playable.....it was in great shape for so late in the year.
