Great win that continues the good run. To score 4 goals against the runaway leaders that had conceded just 13 goals before today the most impressive thing. BTW i did call that Man Citys unbeaten run would end in this game.

Great run of form Liverpool are on finding different ways to win while rotating the team. My money will be on Liverpool to end Man Citys unbeaten run in 2 weeks time.

Sanchez story gathering pace. Would be a serious signing!

It would and if HM is going in the other direction it would good for him too as Wenger would get the best out of him.   Martial has to stay tho.  No way I would swap him for Sanchez.

Sure what's the point when Mourinho will make him defend when they play Liverpool/City.

United must be sick this evening they had the players to score against City but decided to defend instead. City's defence have never been good in Pep's time and are still not good it's amazing that teams think the best option is to sit back and try to counter them. You won't stop them scoring but you can definitely score more than them. Hopefully a few more teams wake up to it!

Before todays game Man City conceded just 13 goals in 22 games. Half of the goals conceded today was individuals erors which is a rare sight on this current good City defence.

Cork goal last minute, won 3-13 to 3-12. Threw away a 10 point lead but backs to the wall pulled it out.
No blanket defenses in that game.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLhdUrH5jzOCBEfzNZbVy2A - the guy called "Mayo Mick" has a channel, it has some highlights of

Mayo vs Galway (the crowd seemed to like the scuffle between the two teams at 11.30)

Mayo vs Leitrim

He is a poster on here http://gaaboard.com/board/index.php?action=profile;u=10650 and not to be confused with another Mayo Mick who is a resident troll.

Mayo Mick has a 20 mins clip of last night's game on youtube. A very low quality game that was played on a bog of a pitch every bit as bad as the Hyde was on April 2016. Rochford hinted after the game that a number of the first teamers will return to action this Sunday and as ever with him you won't know for sure who will start until close to throw in.

What do we think of Sanchez

Seems to depend if Wenger will do business with Man Utd & Jose, if so he will be a Utd player before City.

Prefers a move to City but they aren't willing to pony up apparently

Manchester City have given the price they would be prepared to pay for Sanchez they won't rise that price as they don't have someone like Ed Woodward over their transfers.

How on earth is Woodward still allowed to do the transfer business? Not a big fan of Sanchez his attitude stinks.

Is it counter productive playing so many new faces in these games? It's impossible for the team to have any coherence having never played together before so it's difficult to judge players based on these games. That said, I guess Rochford sees them in training also.
In these early season games i think you should have at least one player with championship experience in each line to bring the new faces along. Keane in the full back should help along the two corner backs. Gibbons has a little bit of experience to help along his midfield partner other than that probably too many new faces thrown in at one time and they will be up against a Galway side that has about 10 players that will be make their championship panel plus they will have D Comer,S Walsh and T Flynn to bring on if needed.

Bristol City leading the Premier league runaway leaders 1-0 at half time in their home patch. Deserved lead also as they have managed to hold Man City to just two shots on target.

if Parkinson  knew any different he woiuld not be long saying it . micko helped them overachieve and they got notions . sounds straightforward enough

Overachieved? i don't think so. It was the best batch of Laois players to come along in one space of time and all that Micko did was to display some of the potential they had. I remember reading article a few years ago not sure if it was from Parkinson or another player but he said the underage success made some of the players think they were stars already, they would go into bars in Laois where the walls were lined with their pictures and total strangers would come up to them and buy them pints. All of this probably gave them the attitude they didn't had to work as hard as other players less talented.

Not even the great Micko could get that group of Laois players to achieve their true potential at senior level.

Good watch that was. Old age is certainly a curse.
