Yes was caught out badly myself but no excuses - poor management on my behalf and not reading the rules properly. Thank God im not a real manager, i pity EOS now !!
Whats the rules now ? It's telling me i have no transfers available yet although i know i have 9 left. When can you start making these ? i assume the nominated kicker doesn't have to be in place before 8.00 tonight as was the previous case ?

Now i know im asking these questions to fellow managers, so play fair and don't be selling me a dud !! ;)

Dyas is offered an AFL contract

Kevin Dyas was part of Armagh's winning Under-21 squad
Young Armagh star Kevin Dyas looks set to switch codes after a successful four-week trial with Australian Rules side Collingwood.
Dyas has been offered a two-year contract with the Melbourne-based side and will link up with Down's Martin Clarke who is making waves Down Under.

The 19-year-old Dromintee player was impressed by the Collingwood set-up.

"They are very professional, a team that takes it seriously, and with a very professional game plan."

Dyas is expected to sit down with his family over the weekend to discuss the possibility of a move Down Under.

"I'm going to talk it out with my family and make a decision in the next week or two," said Dyas.

"It's a massive decision, and I don't want to rush into anything.

"I would be going out to give it my best shot, there would be no point wasting my time."

Clarke, who moved to Collingwood last year, has been a revelation since he was elevated into Magpies senior squad.

"He has been very impressive, and is playing really well," said Dyas.

"He was one of the best players when I was there."

Any of you lads from the west reccommend the best bar to watch the match on sunday in Sligo - preferable walking distance from the Sligo City Hotel. Cheers

If Portglenone win, there is no way the hurling will start on time !! 1st championship in history, the stewards wont prevent a pitch invasion and they will be in no hurry off it. if St Galls win, different story.

O'Driscoll injury scare for Irish

Brian O'Driscoll was forced off during training in Bordeaux
Ireland captain Brian O'Driscoll is an injury concern for the crunch World Cup clash with Argentina on Sunday.
The Leinster centre limped off during Monday's training session after taking a bang on his right knee.

Munster hooker Jerry Flannery is also a worry after suffering a neck injury in a heavy collision with Simon Best.

Fly-half Ronan O'Gara (calf) and full-back Girvan Dempsey (collarbone) sat out training with injuries picked up in Friday's 25-3 defeat by France.

Flannery was floored by the impact with Ulster hooker Best before returning to his feet several minutes later.

An ice pack was placed over his neck and he took no further part in the session in Bordeaux.

Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan names his team for the Paris showdown with Argentina at lunchtime on Tuesday.

The Irish will have to score four tries and beat Argentina by more than seven points in their final match to reach the quarter-finals.

The defeat by France followed unconvincing wins over Namibia and Georgia in Pool D.

We are probably fecked anyway, but if this is the case, then theres probably no chance !!

i dont know 23 points is a lot to claw back, esp as you have most of my main men too - could you not transfer a few aussies for a few irish :D
i noticed maigh eo sneaking up.
i think my mistake to have no kicker in week 2 could come back to haunt me! and last thurs i had martyn williams in and changed him to charvis at the last minute :-\
good craic all the same, gives a bit of interest to make up for the irish performances

"As for the sport, I love watchin the top super league sides, great game when two sides are evenly matched"

No doubt then Dinny you will tuning in this Friday, top 2 meet St Helens / Leeds - winner through to Grand Final, loser to play Wigan / Hull winners.

Clashes exactly with England / Tonga in RWC, but as i said, thank God for Sky +.

I was leading on Sat afternoon, but by yesterday you had overtaken me.I thought because i had 8 playin yesterday i was in a good position only to discover that your 4 aussies were the same as mine plus ali williams + richie mccaw :-\
i was relying on carter + sivivatu to edge me ahead but carter kicked poor and sivivatu dropped everything. Howlett scoring 2 didn't help either. where did you pull them argies out of - good move.

Just curioius is anyone really interested in this game. I know there are a lot of rugby union fans on this board, me included, and this is a completely different game, but i have really got into this over the last season. The super league in england really throws up some great games, none more so than the 1st play-off game on friday night past, when bradford at home were 30-6 up against wigan with an hour played and lost 30-31 ! fantastic stuff. the season is near over but if your bored on a friday night and not going out, it is worth tuning in to. Anyone else watch it ?
