Good start to their Ulster campaign for Glenarm today. 24 point winners over Carrickmacross down in Inniskeen. I believe it's Sean Treacys up next in the semis.

Another Ulster win today for Glenarm. Great to see it. They now play Setanta from Donegal in two weeks time in the Ulster final.

Is there an argument that the Ulster SHC winners have a much handier route into the AI series? A bit like the Kerry footballers, not much competition in the provincial series. Antrim, Derry, Down the only three counties capable of producing senior club hurling.

It might be an argument if Connacht didn't exist...

They haven't won county since what the 80s. About as much chance as us winning Liam McCarthy! Dunloy should breakthrough eventually and I would expect a challenge or two but Ballyhale, ballygunner, na piarsagh and usually what comes from Galway are a bit much.

Cushendall about to drop off when McManus goes or slows down.

This current Dunloy team need to break the duck in Ulster which is easier said than done obviously as the Slaughtneil hurlers are one hell of a team.

I would have loved to see Neil McManus win one with Cushendall but yeah he will be a massive loss for them when he goes. They had an excellent Feile team this year but obviously those lads are a few years away and at most underage levels Loughgiel are doing very well.

On Loughgiel, I'd love to see their camogs get an All-Ireland. Some seriously quality players but have just ran into what is an excellent Slaughtneil team over the years.

Would love to see Dunloy or Cushendall win the senior hurling at some point.

Tweet from Joe Brolly.

Antrim County Committee just voted overwhelmingly (90%) to restore the under 18 grade. The main argument was the amount of players being lost to the games as a result of the u17 grade.

Does this mean it will go back to u16, 14, 12, 10 etc?

Kilcoo have their All Ireland. Is there an argument for him to have a desire to get one himself? I'm sure he'll go out and give Ballybay the best chance he can.

Derrygonnelly ended up winning the competition. All the spotlight probably done Castlerahan/Denn no favours in the end either.

Great game today and brilliant to see the young lads shine. I'd get Cresswell back from his loan at Millwall and fire him in too.

Some finish

Definitely hope Derrygonnelly beat them after watching her celebrate the goal.

Since when were certain studs not allowed on 3g pitches? This is news to me.

I was coaching a soccer team 10 years ago and we trained on a 3g and we weren't allowed studs on it then so definitely not a new thing.

Feel for Steelstown here. Surely the Ulster board knew when the game was called off 2 weeks ago that this was going to cause problems for someone. The late switch of venue and boots issue is just the icing on the cake.

One of the best things about lockdown was the classic World Cup games thing they showed on TV as there was no live sport.

I think there's a place for it and if people realise it's not necessarily who is the best player but more who had the biggest impact in their respective Championship then it's worthwhile.
