QuoteI honestly have to laugh this thread is right up there with RAWK....The players yous have bought aren't even better than whats already at the club but yous are playing way over the odds....this season is going to better craic than last season

You spend your time reading this thread as well as reading another Liverpool message board.

There's a word for someone like you .........

A football fan?? The clue is at the top of the page, discussion

That's 3 words!

I would use the word obsessed, reading this page is grand but RAWK...come on

They could use Polsen and Ngog as part of a swap deal for Cahill.

In a perfect world yes but can't see us getting rid of poulsen anytime soon (hope I'm wrong).

10 mil and Ngog would be a good deal for both clubs i reckon

Enrique seems to be strongly linked in a number of places, if the money is right at £5.5m, then its a good buy at a good price.

Also heard than Dann from Birmingham is also getting close. Think I'd prefer Cahill if the money is available. Both would be in a similar mould as Carra like defenders but Dann seems to have had a few injuries over last few seasons.

Cole also likely to be on the road out, so i'm guessing the players leaving have made it possible to get a few in. Few others likely to depart - Ayala, Insua, Poulsen.

Will Ayala leave on loan or for a fee? Very difficult to seem him break into the team with Carra, agger, Skrtel, Wilson, Kelly and possible new signing ahead of him in the queue. Shame cause he looked a decent player everytime I seen him play.

To add to Insua and Poulsen I wish we could get rid of degen and El Zhar but don't see it happening.I wonder when there contracts are up?

Great bit of business if price of 5.5mil quoted is true.

Chat seems to have moved from Dann to Cahill, either would be a good signing with Dann drastically cheaper due to brum's financial problems

First time i've used them for a trip away. Think they're very good for restaurants and spa days. There are four couples going so fourball and four spa treatments. We were looking for a saturday night in October but had to settle for a friday night then golf on the saturday. We are sharing two two bedroom apartments.

So the 99 euro covers your B&B plus 2 for golf or 2 for treaments? The other couple going with us booked it yesterday for us and were told it only covers 1 for golf or a treatment

Got a night booked in Castle Dargan, Sligo along with golf.

Anyone ever been? What's it like?

Same deal myself. Very good value

Groupon deal?

1st time I've used them. The offer stated spa treatments or golf. If the women is going with you make sure you ask for the spa treatment to be covered by voucher as it's more expensive than the golf. Not much availability for weekends. We got in in Nov when a round of golf is 25 euro compared to the treatment at 50 euro

The lack of a defensive signing is still a major worry!

Would definitely like a new LB but think we aren't too bad for cover.

RB - Johnson, Kelly, Flanagan, Carra

CB - Agger, Skrtel, Carra, The Greek, Kelly, Ayala

LB - Aurelio, Insua, Robinson, Johnson

Carroll will definitely start the season if he remains fit. Obviously we'll know more after the next 2 friendlies but with Gerrard out, Lucas and Suarez possibility getting a longer rest, Aqua moving and no sign of Raul (anyone know what's the situation with him?) the team won't be that hard to pick.

It'd prob be a front 6 of

Henderson, Spearing, Adam
   Kuyt, Carroll, Downing

What do you all reckon will be our strongest line up?

I'll go for

------------------Reina--------------
Kelly------Carra------Agger----Johnson
-------Gerrard--Lucas--Adam-----
Suarez-------------------------Downing
----------------Carroll-----------------

Bench from Doni, Kuyt, Raul, Skrtel, Flanagan, Henderson, Spearing, Maxi, Aqua (if he's still about)

Bit of a waste of a game but i'm sure it was only to have a look at some fringe players and give 90mins or close to it for a few.

I'm guessing at this stage they wanted to give full games to players rather than halfs, so the choice was to play two teams now and Monday with KD wanting as many first teamers to play together as possible with the league two games away, so Monday was choosen for the first team.

Preseason can be a pain and fustrating but hopefully the first team will have 2 games together now in Norway and at home to Valencia.

Totally agree with that, just wondering why Carroll was playing. Is it solely down to fitness? I wonder will he start on Monday?
