Aside from Johnston , who got 3-16 in the League  in 2016
Gearoid McKiernan scored 1-21 in the 7 league games last year, plus 3 in the final. He is missing the first few rounds of the league.
Givney scored 2-5.

After that, the scores were low enough among the rest of the panel.

Johnstone a good div2 forward, not up to this level. We will be relying on scorers from deeper positions.

Is he the guy that plays with Man City now?

No the lad that we signed from Kildare on a free transfer.
Oh Johnston i get who you are on about now, couple of handy frees will be the most we will get from him in division 1

I've been reading this thread the last while and though that this Fearon character was an awful gobshite but the bigger gobshites are the lads replying and trying to argue with him.

Why do you guys bother evening engaging with this fool Fearon?

Three times on Sunday the referee in Castlebar stopped the goalie from quickly kicking out the ball because there was a second ball on the field right beside the end line. Each time there was an umpire within a few metres of the ball, but they just stood there looking at the ball. The mind boggles

This!
Ironically, I heard that an intercounty referee at the weekend ran in to tell his umpires not to go looking for a second ball and to stay and do the job they're supposed to do.

Nothing wrong with that.

Anyone who stays away from Cavan games because of one player are not hardcore supporters.

I reckon spurs will win league by 1 point

They're 5/1 with most bookies . . . knock yourself out!!!

Yeah they're good value - might have a go on it.

I'm thinking Spurs could get 12 from 15 where Leicester might get no more than 5.

The way Leicester are going they will gather enough points to win it.

Good win for the Foxes today. The thing I like about them is they keep attacking to the end where as most teams in there situation would park the bus with a 1-0 lead.Nine points from 5 games is all they need to fulfill the biggest surprise since the great Forest team back in the seventies'

They are parking the bus and hoofing the ball up the field to a lone striker.

It's great to see club football get a platform like this. Wearecavan is top class. Commentry of a high standard.

Not top class but good craic and a great service.

They were talking about quarter pounders and chips in middle of game one night and farts another night but overall its enjoyable and i'd be lost without it now.
