Any chance of a by pass round Clough or a severe bout of legionaires disease so we wouldnt have put up with the hole.

I think it was some sort of uniform fantasy he had.

Anyway, you've just reminded me to warn yiz all to be very careful if you have any dealings with ban gardai. Look what they're teaching them in Templemore these days. the one on the right has the technique spot on.

Is it a spot the real Ban Gardai competition?
One is a real Ban Gardai, one is a former hammer throwing champion and the other is a pole dancer.  Can you get them in the right order?  Will they all be holding the mesh up next sunday.  I can guess which one I will be lucky enough to view.

Have been in the Cusack stand on the last couple of occassions and to be honest getting away fom the semi final was hairy enough through the gate that was opened and it wasnt a full house.  In a perverse way perhaps a pitch invasion is a better option than a potential crush situation at the back of the Hogan and Cusack stands immediately after the match.

The worst I ever experienced was trying to get out of the Old Canal end after a game which was near capacity.  The road bottlenecked and it was 10-15 minutes before there was any movement.

I am a bit overweight and retired from football a few years ago, could I pass for an Antrim footballer?

A bit selective in terms of what you have quoted?. As far as I know the Final is on the 19th. The point I was making is lets call a spade a spade, there is absolutely no chance of South Armagh ever supporting Down.  Lets not hide behind facile excuses of Down bitterness.

Armagh had the opportunity but didn't convert that opportunity
In terms of simple maths Down 5 finals, 5 wins = 100%
Armagh
3 finals, 1 win = 33%
Who tends to turn opportunity into success?.
Armagh or Down

I was in Newry yesterday and was told there was a door to door collection for funds to decorate Drumgullion/Lisgullion on the ARMAGH Road.
Clough needs to get its act together though  ;).  Not sure who they are supporting!!!!!

Apples.
Firstly coming from South Down originally I know they dont grow apples in south Armagh?.  Secondly you obviously didnt read my post in full as the article is about Kieran McGeeney and I am quite happy to admit that in his prime I would have been happy for him to have played in the down team given both his presence and his skill.  I also pointed out that t this point he is still learning in terms of management
As for South Armagh given the local rivalry supporting Down in South Armagh is as likely as voting DUP.  Ask Mr Tierney (a well known South Armagh pundit) how his granny pregnancy is as he linked the likelihood of Down winning a sixth Sam ito the chances of his granny having another child earlier in the year (not the line he is now pushing in the Irish News).  Remind you o a certain Kerry based pundit in 2002?
As regards Armagh winning more AI absolutely they should have when they had the opportunity but that why Down are different to Armagh. Finally how is the former Down winning AI captain going in his mnagement of Armagh?

As a Down supporter and having had to endure the Armagh blip I dont think there is a county in the country who would not have taken McGeeney in his prime as a player.
In a comparison between wee James and McGeeney in terms of management as far as I remember the Kildare job is McGeeney first management role where as wee James has managed both Queens and a number of Club teams before stepping up to the County job.  James has brought all his experience and an excellent backroom team and transformed largely the same group of players underachieved both last year and for the last number of years.   McGeeney is still learning but his very obvious drive and integrity allow him to make up for the his inexperience.
Consistency will be the measure of both over the next few seasons.
