Is it a colour printer??

Did you just replace the black cartridge and not the coloured ones.

Some of these colour printers will print black by combining the coloured ink and not use the black ink. And maybe you are out of coloured ink.

Try in your Printer Properties on the computer, set it to print in Black and White, that usually ensures it will use just the black ink.

Its a Dell All in One A920.  It indicates that the black cartridge is full and the colour one is one third full.

I print out the test page i.e. the one with the Arrows etc with a black banner at the top and it prints this (after a fashion i.e. not perfect but I just want black).

So I conclude that the printer cartridge is contacting the paper.  But when I print a Word Document or Word Pad, nothing.

Its driving me mad.

Print preview shows text and the text is black (I thought for a while that the text font was white hense you couldn't see the printed words.

Its driving me mad!

Having the exact same problem at the moment with the exact same printer. Anyone out there help us two fools?

Birds crapping on your car. Every day.

Same as that. Dunno why they target my car and no-one elses at the house. Its weird.

A few ideas for ye:

furry dice               - not in the car (you can stick them in the front of your jocks if you feel insecure)
Bailing twine - get a proper belt
wellies          - new shoes, ask the nice lady in the shop to choose
hands                    - wash them every day
teeth                     - probably best to get new ones

??? ???  What?

I am not sure if Back to the Future is still on there.

There is a new one out about your boy who created Facebook, looks decent.

Yeah. The Social Network. The story of Mark Zuckerberg. Probably would be a good one. That fella out of Zombieland (very under-rated show) is in it as well as Justin Timberlake. Might give that a look. Thanks!

Lisburn is fairly good. Plenty of food outlets. Avoid the Kennedy Centre one, there are lots of women in pyjamas.

Thanks. But I meant suggestions of a film  :-[

Your a gent Olly.

Are we safe in assuming, that after last weekend's results at least, that last year's Ulster Intermediate Championship winners were not as strong as their predecessors??? ???

We would be assuming that Sherlock, as your basing that comment on one game, a game which last year's winners (Cookstown) were beat by the previous years's winners (Trillick), I would have thought that was an obvious one.......have you any other mind boggling statements to make......perhaps the sky is blue?????

just looking at the tyrone team. does mickey harte want to us relegated?he has persisted in playing Johnny Curran from coalisland most of the season and hes been the reason why we have been langishing at the rear end of the table all season. maybe its just me that see's him as total liability.
by right we should be relegated at this stage dont know how were sitting on four points as it is.
shouldnt have won either game that we did need.if im to be honest im disappointed at where the Tyrone team is at as a team, only few weeks to the beginning of the Championship and to be perfectly honest alot of the players who have been playing in recent games another all Ireland is a bridge too far for some of them and it was proved last year, and the few of the current crop arent gonna physically step up to the corks in august and september. if anything we are weaker than last season. Dooher out of the scene and at the rear end of his career and Enda Mc Ginley great croke park player also away. Davy harte has had terrible twelve months ive been davys biggest fan past 7r8 years but i now feel his days as an intercounty player are up, why not play the likes of sean oneill in the half bac line as he is the future and likes of Mark donnelly and that should be given a run in the side aswell as marty swift dermot carlin mcikey murphy and cathal mccarron these boys been in and out without been given proper runs and have done well in when they have played.also believe colm mc cullugh deserves more game time need stephen oneill back at 14 if we are to do anything. and if were going to persist in playing colm cavanagh at midfield we are an accident ready to happen.as he simply aint good enough to play in that position at that level. anybody that doesnt agree il promise u some da over the summer we get taken to cleaners there and il go back to this post nd il say i told you so.

agree with every word, the best breakdown of the current tyrone side iv seen on this site!

The clue might be in the name, for Jaysus' sake.
So if I started a new club tomorrow, and called it "Christ Ring GAC", it would automatically have a "great history" because of the name I choose,  without having won a game?
So we are clear...  I, in no way want to diminish the memory of the great man whose name is used in the name of this new club.  And I wish the club well in creating a "great history" in the future, but let us not get carried away and claim to have a great history before accomplishments have been made!

What a slaber you are, these lads are playing for the name of a great footballer and ambassador for his country- and your sitting in your milking parlour in the back ass of nowhere with your dodgy internet connection and "new" laptop trying to give them stick for promoting their club- get a life you creep, you obviously know nothin about GAA, your just a twisted nobody trying to be a big fella on this..............................now jog on

For anyone who watched the game yesterday on the box, did anyone notice before the game started, the bit of a preview on both teams. on the st galls one, they interviewed Sean kelly, and it was showing a couple of highlights from their previous games, the team was standing for the national anthem and Rory Gallagher just took the lad out and had a piss, plain as day. if this is spotted by the powers that be, they could find themselves with a fine, not that they would really give a f**k today,

apparrantly Cookstown were fined €3000 for their antics in croker

Well done to St. Gall's, comfortable winners without ever running away with the game.

What did Cookstown get up to???

few of the lads "lost" their clothes when they went down for a look round croker a week before the final
