Yip.

McKeever is the business.  One of the top half backs in the country.

Clarke has proved nothing yet, except for being on the starting 15 on the Down county team.

Armagh wil bring at least 2000 to 3000 for this one I'd say.

We barely brought that many to Cross last Sunday. Can't see 3000 heading up to Donegal, for what's still just a league game at the end of the day. I reckon Armagh have a solid base of about 1000 that head to most away games, maybe throw on another 500 because of the wee bit of extra importance for this game and you'll have your lot.

What about the recession???

Plus all those with holiday homes etc in Donegal...

So what exactly happened Marty Clarke?  Was it just bruised ribs??

Na, they were just resting him for the Westmeath game. By the time he went off he had done enough damage - Armagh were well and trully beaten!

Overrated to say the least, It's like the Liverpool fans thinking Lucas is good.

It is debased from being over used and also by some of the woeful renditions of it that take place at GAA events.

The worst would be the slow, screechy, off key murdering the anthem gets by pipe bands down at Munster championship matches. The crowd start off trying to match the low key, get sick of it and start yelping and yahooing half way through.

At league matches you get all sorts of rickety recordings played over the tannoy, or maybe some nervous 11 year old Scór singer doing an a capella version of it, with various degrees of success.

Playing it on the tape recorder at GAA committee meetings really is a step too far.

Whats a 'tape recorder'???

Co not think I have ever heard of Andy Mallon, Donaghy or Duffy ever accused of cynicism, even in club football. Much of this talk is based on media hype from a number of years ago. We really do not have many players who could fit the typecast of old. New manager, new team. Just hope for a good game with a  good refereeing performance. What neither team need is suspended players.

Whats' Down's Martin Clarke general play like?  i.e. if he wasn't hitting the frees, would he be a definet starter?

Any true, serious GAA fan should own a season ticket, in my opinion.

That is on par with Trevor Hill saying money isnt the problem (or something similar)
Complete sh1te

McKeever to eat up young Clarke this weekend.

i'm soo disapointed that barry has decided to close the orchardcounty website, an no offence but no other forums won't be the same. 1 reason being i can't access any other forum through my work internet :(

i do wish the armaghgaaforum all the best though :)

It can be exactly the same if we all join and put the effort in.  Lets not be too negative.

I'd say some of the Corofin and Mountbellew/Moylough players weren't all that happy to see Joe Bergin equalise at the death in the county final last week. Rules quite a few out of this 'test'.

New Yorks sh*te anyways.
