I had the same problem with it crashing numberous times per day and it turned out to be faulty ram. You can download a free memtest programme, burn it on a disk and boot up using said cd. This will tell you if its ram related or not.

I presume that as the DCB has already stated that due to club commitments they'll have no free dates from here till winter to play refixtures that Monaghan will be given the points.

there are four codes in the GAA

handball, rounders, hurling and football

the first three are native to Ireland for hundreds of years. the last one was invented in the last 1800's
Im no lover of gaelic football but I do think it can have some claim to have been evolved from caid.

This is direct quote from the Irish Independent website
"Option 1: Throw Cork out of the leagues for missing their first two games in both competitions.

Result: A popular suggestion in some quarters but not allowed under rule. Even if it were possible, it would have had repercussions for other counties as Cork would be automatically relegated to Division 3 (football) and Division 2 (hurling) on the basis of disqualification rather than form. That would distort those groups in 2009.
"
You have refused point blank to accept this irrefutable factual analysis - ergo you are an imbecile. Not personal abuse, simply a statement of fact.

Jesus christ !  :o

Whether the game was "deferred" or not, the GAA said this AFTER the "deferrment" and confirmed that was one down, one more to go.

I'm not claiming to be an expert, just relaying what I heard.

I've reported the personal abuse, no need for that whatsoever.

Jaysus its like I'm under siege today   :D :D :D :D :D
Since when is calling someone who refuses point blank to accept fact an imbicile personal abuse? Im merely tring to disabuse of your utter ignorance on this matter. I should remind you  that you're the guy who throwed the insults at the v start when I highlighted AZOffaly's factual analysis of the situation. Glasshouses and stones and all that. You have bizarrley consistently refused to accept fact.

TBT, are you capable of posting without insulting someone?  ::)

The GAA suggested themselves after the Meath game was postponed for a second time that if they missed another game they could be thrown out.

Whether thats in the rulebook or not, thats what was said.

Either way, even if it wasnt an option, make the point, no need to be insulting.

From your previous posts you are obviously not too bright yourself, but I didnt say anything for the sake of manners. Until now  ;)

Listen, if you can't stick it don't start it. And by the same token you are obviously an imbicile unable to comprehend basic fact.

ps read AZOFFALY'S post I first responded to. Comprehend what it says - if your able to -and stop making idiotic statements which fly in the face of fact.

Incidentally, I dont think anyone presumed they would get the points.

There were three options, throw Cork out, make them play the games again, or give the points to Dublin and Meath and play the rest.

I dont think option three was widely predicted on here beforehand, unless Pillar and Coyle had inside information.

They did the right thing and kept their noses out of it.
Look your obviously not the smartest thing around but let me spell it out for you. If the GAA were to kick Cork out of the leagues they'd be breaking their own rules. Kicking Cork out of the league was never an option under rule.

But did the GAA not agree to 'defer' the Meath game (at least), therefore Gork were not 'not fulfilling' a fixture?

Not for the first time, the GAA is very confusing with it's rules and their applications. I'd say Frank Murphy could have this overturned in 10 minutes inside in the DRA. He either doesn't want any further negative publicity, or else he is hoping for Cork to get relegated to teach them a lesson :D

Nice to see someone actually know what theyretalking about. Cork have broken no rule to merit expulsion. The GAA defered the games. Cork could have fielded a hurling side v Waterford but were led to believe that this fixture would be played later. Of course yesterdays events were payback.
wrt to Meath - it obvious theyre scared sh1tless of a repeat of last yrs massacre.

Emerging Down football talent Paul McComiskey has attracted interest from Aussie Rules side Brisbane Lions.

The Queens University student is part of Ross Carr's senior football squad and played alongside fellow countyman (and Aussie Rules success story) Martin Clarke on the Down minor side that emphatically won the 2005 All-Ireland.

The player has been invited to Brisbane for trials and would be a massive loss to the Mourne County were he to pursue a playing career down under.

In another blow to Ulster football, Tyrone minor star Kyle Coney has been invited for a two-week trial with Sydney Swans.

The prospect of a talent drain to the Australian code is angering a lot of gaels, particularly with clubs being asked to vote on a resumption of the International Rules series.
