What are people's predictions for the weekend? I'll go for Carmen by 4-6 points and Errigal by 1-3 points.

Carrickmore to win by 1-3 points
Clonoe to win by 1-3 points

Clonoe to win the final 1-3 points.

No idea where he lives to be honest. If the poster above is right and he was only playing for Brackaville reserves last year they probably weren't too bothered about the transfer. Apart from a few posters here trying to raise it I hadn't heard of any controversy over it.
He definitely played for Brackaville in the Junior Reserve FC last year anyway.

Who honestly cares?
his decision. he wouldn't have been playing if it wasn't allowed.

Move on...

EC Unique, or anyone from the Errigal Ciaran club please dont be offended by the question im going to ask, because it isnt meant as a dig.
But, with what would be recognised as a relatively poor enough Errigal side over the last 2-3 seasons (i think there are much stronger teams and panels in the county, as i say, not a dig, always admired how errigal play the game) is McGuckin the best club manager in tyrone?
Could he be a potential replacement for harte in the future?
What is it about him that he seems to be able to get errigal to play to a much higher standard than they probably should be at?

Lets hope Tyrone don't ever draw Derry then!!
Still a strong believer in Mickey Harte. theres nobody better in Ireland i assure you.

According to Tyrone McSherry of the Tyrone Herald- the draw for the semi finals of the championship takes place tonight. At half time. My God.
:o :o :o :o

predicted draw

Carrickmore v Winners of Moy/Trillick
Clonoe/Eglish v Augher/Errigal Ciaran
Where do you want your prize sent to and PM me Saturdays lotto numbers.

County Board always Try to make county Final as box office as they can to neighboring countys so that they get a as many people through the gates as possible, and will keep Errigal and Carrickmore  apart.
tonights game was massive damn squib. felt sorry for Augher in the end they are nowhere near as bad as they were made look tonight and in a derby game Errigal were never gonna take their foot of the gas. Everybody experiences nights and performances like these somewhere down through the years were absolutely nothing will go for you.
Further evidence that Errigal Ciaran will be the team to beat. so mobile from 1-15

Can anyone explain why Errigal are being made play this Wednesday night, 4 days after a very tough replay, when the other 2 remaining quarter finals are on at the weekend? Surely common sense would say our game should also be at the weekend?

While I have some sympathy for Errigal Ciaran Firsts in regards to this it isn't unheard of in our county.
Ardboe and Trillick only had a four/five day turnaround this year too.
The manager is defiantly right to question it but I can't see any outcome other than it going ahead as scheduled.
I don't know why it can't be played on Friday night unless there is some restrictions we don't know about.

I would say Errigal would be 1/10 in Bookies for this one. Augher nothing to lose. If they cause an upset I can see a memorial DVD being released.

Paddy Power

Errigal Ciaran 1-4 Augher 7-2 Draw 9-1

Hard to believe Fianna, Ardboe, Dromore, Omagh & Killyclogher all gone already - teams who would have realistically saw themselves as possible winners..could we see an outsider in the final this year?

Clonoe are a good bet, but its hard to know how good they really are, as Omagh were extremely poor against them.

Omagh are similar to Similar to arsenal, plenty of nice tidy players on the ball but with no spine or cutting edge when push comes to shove in the Championship, suffer from a lack of leaders on the pitch.i may be wrong but i think the omagh boat has sailed for this crop of players.Joey and justy in their prime and the Young Ronan O'Neill who burst onto the scene a few years back was their time but they never fulfilled that massive potential that they had.its disappointing

Carrickmore are favourites at the minute only because the others all have a quarter final to play in yet. I would imagine should Errigal and Clonoe come through then Carmen would be 3rd favourites.
There hasn't really been a shock of large proportions in this years championship. Are we due one? Moy may run Clonoe close simply because of the Cavanaghs?

Moy play Trillick.
Clonoe v Eglish

Clonoe look the most Complete Unit.
if id a spare £20 id take a chance on them at 3-1

Great chance for either Ballinagh - Crosserlough to make a final. Lacken with all the injuries and having played 6 championships games in consecutive weeks found it tough yesterday against d nagh. Ballinagh were a lot fresher. Kevin Smith was very good at half forward. No love lost between Ballinagh and Crosserlough being neighbours. So would expect it to be a hard hitting game.

Castlerahan won't fear the Gaels in the other Semi. Gaels are beginning to click, but Castlerahan are hard to break down and Mackey is in great form. Should be a good game as well.

rodney trotter im gonna shoot you if i get my hands on you!! u and your Ramor7-2. stuck them in with ballinderry13-8, Dublin seniors 13-8 Mayo minors 8-15 and Monaghan ladies 15-8 for 20 quid.lol im praying cork ladies or ballinascreen beat one of the other.

Other rumours and gossip I have heard over the weekend
Fintona's manager has walked out in a dispute with the club. His son was playing corner back in the minor's yesterday. Fintona are sitting 3rd or 4th in that division.

Steven O'Neill will be transferring to Dromore next season. He has apparently already made the relevant moves to do so. He is building a house in Dromore.

it will take more than Stephen O'Neill to bring Dromore back as a force.the Legs has visibly gone in alot of their main men and anyway Stephen O'Neill has only got a year or two left in him i wouldn't be one for men transferring and especially at this stage in his career.he mustn't fancy scoring 10 pts a game in Division Three next season.

Serious game between carmen and coalisland on friday night.
Carmen will be hard stopped now and have the benefit of sitting in the semi with all the others a game behind.
Mark Donnelly and penrose were excellent for carmen, as well as mcgurk and big oz.
Very impressed with Coalisland Half back line Bayne, Donnelly and Carberry, all three were outstanding.
Didnt get to the game saturday, did dromore's discipline let them down like last year's final? Who played well for errigal?
Love to see a clonoe v carmen final

My Man of the match would probably be Ronan Mc'Crory or Shane Hackett of Errigal Ciaran, Mc Crory was the thorn in Dromore's side the whole afternoon.his point in the dying seconds with the outside of the boot was the score of the game not to mention him been unlucky with a shot that came of the post in the last few minutes aswell.Hackett meanwhile dominated the the midfield endless clean fetches and got a hand or fist to most balls that came his way.Errigal Ciaran got their subs spot on again like the last day.i don't know this time if it was either good judgement or luck.McGuckin showed huge faith in Young kavanagh in corner forward who had a horror show in the first half and many didn't expect him to reappear for the second period which he did and he ended up firing to the net the all important goal which came back of the upright which immediately canceled out O'Neills well taken major for Dromore. His decision to Withdraw Michael McCrory after he picked up a yellow card was another massive shout with McCrory arguably being their best out and out defender.McGuckin's final masterstroke was firing on a half fit daisy who didn't take long to find his range after his first shot since been introduced was blocked he later went on to pop over two very important points for his side from narrow angles.

Errigal the better team over the two games. Not impressed with the lack of ability of Ardboe and Dromore to lose with class and dignity. Suppose it's in the DNA

Johnny Curran's moment of madness cost Coalisland dear in the end.in the space of 15 seconds he more a less put his sides chances up in smoke.
What a performance from Conor Gormley though he was immense he was literally everywhere, a wee bit of Play acting after Kerr struck out but Kerr should have knew better.
hope he gives Tyrone another year.
