the match is over and a new thread should be put up. the Galway champs are no mugs having won the Connacht title two years in a row. while the Mayo champions seemed a poor team it wont go unnoticed that they racked up a good score without some of their main players.

having watched part of the game last night i'd say they are two evenly matched teams and should be a good game.

how the galls lads will do on two fronts is another question. with 8/9 dual players with the fitness and strength, it could be a deciding factor with their game in the hurling, or the dual players may just concentrate on the football? i doubt it though as that would be some achievement to reach two finals at Croke park

Think its unfair to have a pop at McBride lads, he's be great servant to Loup and Derry. Cheat? Na just cuteness maybe.

McBride was struggling from early on and his tactic, well thats what you do and had the Galls lads won while being 'cute' then sure that would be experience

will they change? The clubs who want a change wont get the support from clubs they have shit on in the past.

Ballycastle will come down next year, maybe and it will change then :P

Granted,  but i'd made a day of it, was down for first game, plenty of excitement for it, and was good to see an Antrim team be far superior than the Derry Champions. it just doesn't happen.

minder has already said you cant always bring that form into Feb. past demons will maybe spur these lads on

great game don't know why you found this afternoon boring Fox. St Galls showed a serious level of fitness and ability. i thought after 10 minutes Loups main players were done. while McFlynn tried hard, McBride could not keep up to the pace of midfield and was over run. these guys have given Loup decades of service and owe them nothing.

As for the arrogance. didn't see it out there today, very contolled and got on with the job.

major factor i believe was the hurt of being beaten in 2003. does  not take much to get a team motivated to play an Ulster final but that must have been a major thing.
