Why has car insurance rocketed this year? Anyone getting any good deals or can recommend a good insurer?

Not far of the mark there broken crossbar. The community and voluntary sector essentially cobver the governments arse at times with the services that they provide - loof at the childlines, cancer charities etc - vital vital stuff, older peoples groups, suicide awareness, inter-community groups etc etc - these groups are what keeps many isolated people going and it just takes one bad apple for a complete over reaction

GAA Discussion / Re: All Ireland Final tickets
September 02, 2010, 08:57:08 AM
Woman in work trying to get me tickets through her contacts and might succeed but I'm a member of the local club and would be hopeful myself. If I did and she came up with the tickets I'd make sure my brother got hers. He got injured five years ago with the club who never looked after him and he had to get it sorted privately so has no love for the club. However he has followed the county near and far religiously so I think he'd deserve them. However she has just said her daughters and husband would get the tickets if I was giving them to the brother even said she wouldn't mind " a run to Dublin herself". They live close to the county pitch and last time they watched a match was the 94 final - ah the mind boggles on people getting wasted tickets and boy does it rankle

I've had this for 18 months, all from a groin strain, was diagnoosed about a month ago as Osteitis Pubis with a small hernia. I just had the cortisone injection last week - had to go private for the injection and diagnoses. I have been told complete rest for three weeks then get a follow up appointment. After this I was told Pilates, stretching and swimming and no football etc for 6 months so this season is over.

This injury is a nightmare - a complete nightmare - affects everything and no matter what ya tell people they dont listen - break an arm or leg and its obvious - this is very much less so and people assume your moaning. I havve learned just to be completely patient and hope to God this long rehab works. Musgrave Park Hospital in Belfast has a few specialists and you'd be better go private.

Hope things clear up
