Isn't one of the Spiders in Ireland the most poisonous in the world? but there fangs are to short to bite... wanna be careful stepping on them  ;)

I think that's the daddy long legs you're on about.  Very potent venom but no delivery mechanism.

Spiders are great.  If you catch them by one back leg and lift them they go into a sort of freeze mode all splayed out.  You can them carry them out safely neither you not the spider get hurt.  Well as long as you don't jerk or snap when lifting cos you could pull the leg off.  They go clean mad then and will attack you with the same resolve and determination they show when building their web day in day out just cos some lad has to get his bike in and out the gate.

I dug up my garden and sowed new grass a few weeks back, i can't keep the bloody thing cut it's growing so fast, only thing is parts of it are growing much faster than other parts and is very patchy as a result, anyone know why that would be?

Yes, the neighbours dog is dumping in the patches that are growing faster.  Ask the neighbour to get round and spread the shite out evenly after the mutt has done it's business.

Thanks for the suggestion only the neighbours don't have a dog, unless it's the neighbours wife she is a bit of a dog alright but I doubt she is coming into the garden in the middle of the night and pooing on my garden.

We are living in strange times

Youre right Bogball, I was about to say he was making Carlow sound like Beirut, then I remembered Beirut is probably better than Coleraine these days  :D
Aye, but on a sunny day, is there much difference - apart from the absence of sultry middle eastern ladies that is?

Except around the 12th there is a plethora of sultry middle eastern Belfast ladies in the triangle area.
Should that not read a plethora of eastern belfast ladies showing their middle and triangle area?

Hmm, there speaks the voice of experience.
