There is some shite being spouted and such a blinkered view , even conceding (wrongly) for arguments that it's not coached at underage level . All you have to do is watch the Ricey laochra Gael programme to see what is fundamentally rotten in the Tyrone ideology of what's acceptable and what's not and you're going to tell me that doesn't filter down to the young lads . Ffs give me a break .
Chill out clown... and take a cold bath
It works ... honest!!!

I'm not sure what ye are trying to prove lads. Lets just say for arguments sake that Stephen O'Brien meant it. If he did he deserved a red card, not a yellow. And he could have no complaints if that was a deliberate stamp.

Now what? Are we supposed to examine every incident in the game and critique the refereeing decision, or the intent of the various players in the incidents? I'm not sure what ye are trying to accomplish here? Do ye want a count up off all the 'controversial' moments and see whether Tipp or Tyrone 'offended' more? Or are ye just highlighting an incident of Tipp malfeasance to show it's not just Tyrone that does it? If it's the latter, then that's a waste of time. Only WUMs pretend otherwise.

AZ, you must notice that there has been umpteen posts on here giving it the usual nonsense about cynical Tyrone etc. I've posted quotes from the Tipp manager claiming his side were victims of these cynical tactics throughout the game. Some fella from the Tipp County board even went on the RTE  to complain about our tactics etc.  Anyone reading the non Tyrone posts or listening to the radio would get the impression that Tyrone bullied (sorry, maybe "mugged" is the better word) Tipp in order to win this final. The reallity is that, as usual, this is not a one way street and cynical play doesn't stop at the border at Aughnacloy. Fuzz is correct, had that tackle been McShane on O'Brien then there would be men in the streets with pitch forks making their way up North. There is no balance when it comes to these issues in the media or on here (though, I realise a fair majority of those on here are on the wind up which is fair enough and I enjoy that) but some of the comments over the past 24 have been utterly ridiculous. Of course we aren't going to analyse every incident but we can't exaggerate incidents on one side of the argument and ignore everything that happens on the other.
I believe the best way forward for the gaa at start of the championship, is to insist any teams
Who play Tyrone wear nice frilly dresses and make clear to Tyrone that it is non contact from now on!!!

For those who haven't saw it themselves.
Imagine it if it was the other way round and Tipps best player was targeted like this. What would you be saying about Tyrone cynicism?
Good for the goose?
What would Brolly say or should we just brush it under the carpet as we all wanted Tipp to win their first AI?

That was no accident. He kicks out resulting Cathal falling and then purposely stamps down on him. Nasty. I mean what was the Tipp player thinking.
That' was no accident or misjudgement.....
Let's hope action is taken ..Oh jayas wait.... that was a tipp player!!!

Tramps nearly came back from the dead, they looked dead and buried. It will be the graveyard that is the back door for Hartes deadly divers. Doubt there will be a resurrection.

I bet you're dead proud of that post.
Now away back with ye  to the graveyard they dug you up from.

And they failed to take them, Tyrone were poor today, yet could easily have stolen the draw.
But well done Monaghan, you deserved your win,

Monaghan about six points the better team yet they almost allowed Tyrone to grab undeserved draw.
They scored 1.4 from open play!!!!  Tyrone scored 0.9 so where are you getting the six points from?
Monaghan deserved to win with a point to spare.
Very little between these teams.
Monaghan missed at least 2 clear goal chances - Tyrone didn't get a sniff at goal all day.

John Wayne has nothing on Big Sean's true grit  and ability to carry his severely wounded body through a game, as if he was merely ballet dancing. That was a stunning stoic performance right to the end, when Big Sean (all 100kg)  was fearlessly willing to dive on damaged ribs to copper fasten the last chance free,  get up on his feet with just a mere hint of a grimace and knock the (so called) pressure kick over the bar.
I hope he /wife /kids/cousins manage to dodge the inevitable slings and arrows directed his way after yet another Brolly vindictive indulgence.

They say the underdog's day has been lost after they let the fancied team off the hook to gain a draw, but I think in this case Down will feel okay about the replay and their chances of getting through.
Tyrone, more and more have  to depend on cynical stunts just to stay in contention, whereas in the past they had a real football team to back up their cynical side.

Very disappointing display  from Tyrone today, no passion, no system and a manager whose living in the
Dark ages. The game today has moved on.
Make no mistake  Tyrone as always have some fantastic players, but in the name of god mickey harte
Has had plenty of time to get it right in defence, we have conceded more goals so far this season  than any team
In the country, yet me included,

consider this team real all Ireland contenders ......... Something does not add up?
in my opinion ..... Today Tyrone played a 2ñd rate down rate team, who were all,  bar 17 mins  playing  second fiddle,
We  were ahead by 7 points , yet concede two goals with mindless defending  and a manager standing motionless on the sideline .... Hardley something to give the  real passionate supporters of Tyrone football  to hang on to..... We deserve better than this,
At the end of the day,  I expect Tyrone to win the replay @  a cander, bury a 3rd rate monaghan, and win the ulster final against  whoever, .... But light years away from an all Ireland and looking for a new progressive manager.
we all need to move on. .............

Mickey harte has had long enough time to sort out our defensive problems
Which have been glaring to the dogs in the street for months,
What the hell is going in training for the past three months?
We are all too eager to pick scapegoats in the fbl, they have been left out to dry, by every other line on that team.
We need to get back to basis with work rate and players covering back and closing down the runners
And working for each other,
#42
Harte continues to ignore the glaring problem in the half back line,
Yet Tony Donnelly concedes ... The middle third  is  winning no dirty ball and
Offering no cover to a overworked fbl.

Just thinking a little left field (ok a lot left field).....but could Penrose be converted to a man marking cornerback? He has speed, can tackle and a great engine to get up and down the field......
[/quote]

I would be of the same mindset, but maybe wing half back instead and along with big joe @ chb and carlin on the other wing, its now time to sort out this disaster of a half back line before its too late.

Big improvement from last weeks performance against derry, but we have a disaster waiting to happen @ chb, in saying that the wing halfs worked very hard , as did the full back line , tierney a great find. I think the bench is a good place for relatives.

People can't complain about Harte being too negative and then also complain about not playing a sweeper cause it cost us a league game. If he's trying new tactics you can't change your ways every time the pressure comes on during the league. I'd be more concerned about our lack of ability to win break ball around the middle which is putting us under pressure.
I totally agree, Tyrone tro the years excelled winning dirty ball in this area, Forget sweepers, we need the half backs
working harder, intencenty for the full seventy minutes has always been the hallmark of good tyrone sides, the players
are there to do the job. midfield has always been a problem area for years on end, but we do need to sort out the central defence and not depending on conor gormley to be a saving grace.
All said some smashing young talent in that forward line.
