Need some advice please for a guy who hasn't a clue.
Have been coerced into agreeing to do the maracycle from Belfast to Dublin in September but haven't been on a bike since I was about 10.
Was going to invest on a bike through the cycle to work scheme but I don't know what type of bike I should be looking at. I think my options are either a road bike or hybrid bike. And then even after i choose the bike, I believe I've all sorts of different pedals I can choose from.
Can anyone recommend anything to help me out?

Anyone know how or where to find the top jockey standings at royal ascot? Guy out of work was telling me about a 5 timer he has running, the last of which is Moore as top jockey. Gets a few grand for a £20 bet if he wins.

I really wish I had your problem. I'm 6ft2 and 15st 6 and climbing. Am on call a lot with work so struggling to fit in club training with matches too. Joined the gym before christmas but got bored after a month or two.
Bit the bullet this week and signed up for the spin and tone class at the gym. Not sure what to expect but need to lose some weight off the belly soon or I'll have to start buying new clothes.
Any tips?

Had
burnley @ 10/11
Rangers -1 @ 13/8
Inter Milan @ 7/4
for a fiver.

Paid out the guts of £70. First bet up since first weekend of the league I think.

Thats classic Happy Gilmore stuff Croi.

My favourite is when you're bent over a putt, and you miss it, then stand up straight as quickly as possible and look as angry as possible. Then stomp round to take the next putt.

My particular favourite/hate is when you miss a 2 foot putt for a point and it ends up the same distance away from the hole as you started. The most annoying part though is when you can lean over from where you're standing and tap it in with whatever part of the club you wish.

Done a 4 timer:
Crystal palace
Nottm forest
West brom
Bolton

First 2 up waiting on next two today. Picked it in a hurry so not holding out much hope but sometimes that's the best way.

Don't normally comment on this old soccer ball but someone mentioned in the case of the ball being moved forward being a hindrance instead of beneficial. What about moving the Wall back another 5 or 10 yards? Would definitely make a player think twice in those scorable positions. Would that be a rule that would be too hard to enforce?

We've been to the pyramids. Pyramids like the museum are spectacular but kinda let down by Cairo itself.
On the list for want to go places:
Ayres Rock
Grand canyon
Machu picchu
Any part of the great wall of china

Watched half of Carlitos way earlier and planned to watch the 2nd half later on. Seems an excellent movie so far. Can't believe I'd never heard of it before.

That definitely sounds good. Have never heard of them before. If you don't mind me asking, how much would each heater set you back?

They are expensive enough, maybe €600 each or something like that but it really depends on the size of your rooms, amount of windows etc. Give them lads a call and see what they recommend.

Yeah, but they definitely sound ideal. How do they work? On a timer or a thermostat?
Aren't they ugly mounted on the ceiling or is a case of getting used to them? Suppose anything would be better than the great monstrosity of storage heaters we have.

Right lads and lassies, need some help.
Currently living in a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, hall, bathroom and living room.
Method of heating at the minute is economy 7 which is a right old pain in the gonads. Currently Phoenix gas are advertising in our area as possibly installing.
We've got a storage heater in the 2 bedroom, the hall and the living room. Ideally we'd like to replace these with normal radiators.
What's the procedure for doing this? What do we need to do? Get a water filled radiator system plumbed in? Any idea of costs or anything? We've got concrete floors at the minute too which I assume isn't going to make things easy.
