GAA Discussion / Re: Tom Elliott U-Turn on GAA matches

Heard it myself. Didn't sound like a u-turn to me, merely a poor attempt to try and disquise his obvious contempt for a nationalist organisation. He can go to a game if he wants but he'd get no welcome from me. Tried of us having to continually try a persuade a misguided people into thinking we are actually a decent bunch.

Dear All - please see below a message from our Senior Team player, Simon Lennon, who is raising funds for PIPS

"Fellow Harps people

I am currently fundraising for a charity called PIPS. PIPS provide advice and guidance to those suffering from mental health problems and are prominent in suicide prevention as well as counselling those affected by suicide. I did a Firewalk last Thursday night in Belfast to help raise funds to support their programmes and training. I would greatly appreciate your support you can make a £3 donation by text just Text PIPSE to 70003. For those that have been affected by or seen people close to you suffer from mental health problems you will know how important PIPS work is.

Many thanks for your support and please send to as may people as possible

Lenny

Armagh / Table Quiz & Disco - Thursday 30 September
September 27, 2010, 04:57:56 PM

A Table Quiz and Disco will be held in the Charlemont Arms Hotel on Thursday 30 September in memory of Caroline Rice-Hynds and to raise funds for Action Cancer.  Caroline passed away in April following a lengthy and courageous battle against cancer.  Throughout this difficult time (and since) her four children continued to represent Armagh Harps at various levels, and Club members' participation at the evening would be greatly appreciated.

Entry is £5.00 Per Person and everyone is welcome.  Come along and bring a team!
