St. Galls  4/6
Mayobridge 6/4

Are St. Gall's full out for sundays game with mayobridge? or mayobridge missign any men?

Mayobridge have under-achieved they will feel on the ulster stage and they are not getting any younger. Lot of players at their peak now so will be well up for it.

Still think St Gall's will scrape through by about 3 points.

Would be sad to see alonso leave anfield, always a very effective and under-rated player IMHO.

Just on alonso, is it just me or does he look the dead ringer of Tyrone's Enda McGinley?  :D

Hmmmmm drink that makes me vom... well tequila has done it, they still talk about the time I projectile vomitted in the front room when I was handed a glass of 'water' which was actually vodka. Aftershock and Sambuca have both made me vomit as well as a bad feed of Guinness one night... why do I do it?

I can't beat 19 Aftershocks but I know a fella who used to drink in the nightclub I worked in who would fill a pint glass with 15 Aftershock ad down it... how his stomach is still intact I will never know!

screenexile, surely not??? 15!!!!  :o what colour of aftershock was it? the red one always didnt sit well with me in my younger days!

Cointreau is not easy kept down either at times

Tricky to say, i usually go for a defender for a bit of value. a forward may catch the headline scoring 1-4 or whatever but a guy who curbs the opposition's danger man e.g a Connor Gormley or Aidan O'Mahony can hit the highs as well.

If ya do the likes of brian dooher you can be sure of what you're going to get anyway.

Out on a limb i'll go for Tomas O'Se, any rough price?

The dublin defence are an absolute laughing stock! They dont understand the concept of marking whatsoever, as good as tyrone were this contributed big time.
McCullough in particular was getting balls in front of his "marker" uncontested and knew he had the time to turn

For the amount of clubs in dublin and ross mc connell is the best full-back they are putting out then they are going nowhere fast!

Unlike pillar, harte had a plan. a tried and tested plan that the players execute to great success. Defenders are well protected and through the middle there is always a man coming off the shoulder. very effective.

Not a lot has been made of Ciaran O'Reilly missing for fermanagh, mainly because he was out all year injured. Certainly fermanagh could have done with his dead ball skills yesterday.

Armagh reminded me a bit of the Germany soccer team, not the best 15 in the country but disciplined and efficient.
Still have a few reservations about Armagh however. If McDonnell and Clarke were to have an off day or be very well marked (easier said than done) they will definitely struggle for scores. In the wide open spaces of Croker the full back line could be stretched too. If they do meet the Dub's down the line I think they would struggle to thwart the dublin attack and its movement IMO.

i presume gaagaa is on the wind up.

Lockhart is one of derry's finest defenders and has been for a decade.
he didnt play in the club championship this week so his injury may rule him out. Had a deadly game coming on in the National league final against Kerry

I think the team i have named would take some beating providing all fully fit! But for the monaghan game this is unlikely.

Like bingobus, the teams we want and the teams we think may start are polls apart.
What id like from a derry point of view (but know wont happen);

Deighan

McGoldrick
McCusker
Lockhart

McGuckin
G O'Kane
Hinphey

Doherty
Diver

Lynch
E Bradley
P Murphy

C Devlin
E Muldoon
P Bradley

the blanket defence could be bypassed by long high balls into Muldoon with Devlin and Paddy underneath him. Eoin Bradley running direct from CHF would be hard to stop without fouling.
Hinphey adds a bit of steel to the half back line. McGuckin is decent attacking and good height for kick outs. McCloy may have to bite the bullet for the good of the team.

Think it will be a battle of how down defence deal with the aerial threat and how the armagh defence cope with the running of the down forward's.

Moriarty and Bellew may be exposed on this front. Im a big admirer of bellew but small, nippy forwards interchanging will not suit.

McCartan will be close to Clarke but Clarke will always get chances, showed glimpses that he is back to his best against Cavan. Makes for a great game.

Armagh to shade it by 2.
clubs happy with ticket allocation since or people struggling to get tickets?
