Watched Hell or high water lastnight, could not reccomend it enough. Some great dialogue and Jeff Bridges on great form. Ben Foster plays the slightly crazy brother well too.

Is there anyway we can start a new thread and bar a certain individual?? ;) Hardly any point contributing to the thread anymore as you rarely get a chance for a rational discussion without said man hijacking it.

Celtic were clinical, Dembele was excellent especially the finishes for the second and 3rd goal and the vision to setup the fourth was excellent to see.

The sad fact is we are not improving, just scraping through, luckily at that.Contrast this with immediate improvements good new managers have made at Man Utd,Man City and Chelsea.

We should have breezed through the qualifying rounds given the opposition and arrived in the group stages with confidence high and a realistic chance of being competitive.Sadly we will be cannon fodder, all due to an inept and overpaid manager

He may be in your opinion overpaid but by getting us to the champions league no matter how easy you say it was he has paid for his wages easily 10 times over.

Obviously still in the early stages and it was a frustrating game to watch, of I would have had Janko off, thought he was shocking but I would hope when everyones fit and he is a few months into his reign it would be a totally different lineup. I cannot see how you can criticise him that much this early??

Chelsea have scrapped all their results with late goals while not playing well so unsure what you are talking about there...

Every manager should be given time, I'm pretty sure Pochettino took a while to settle with his first team and start getting results ;) ;)

If you think its all a load of fairytales etc why does the Church's opinion matter.Simple fact is the church and its true followers believe that homosexuality is sinful. This is simply our interpretation of God's Law via scriptures. We dont make the law only obey it.

Therefore simply why if you are in sin do you want to be involved with the church when in effect you reject its teachings? Do you ludicrously think the church will amend its teachings to condone what it considers to be sinful?

You don't speak for me, infact I'm embarrassed by your ramblings, I would count myself as a practising catholic going every week saying my prayers but calling homosexuality sinful is wrong, infact I think there are a good few other things they could change that I don't agree with but I won't let that stop me going but I will speak out and say its wrong in parts.

You seem to bend the scripture to suit what you want to say in your reponses at times...

We were talking about europe here and one fella is of the opinion that leaving europe still won't happen and Cameron leaving (the smart move) is not what Gove or Johnson would want as if say Johnson was elected leader he cannot go to the eu with a peoples mandate as he isn't technically the peoples choice and therefore he would need to hold a general election.

As before if Cameron had went forward he would have had the peoples mandate and with him leaving it messes their plans up.

Now if a general election was held and a party go in that was pro euro (labour) and judging by the back lash and people realising how bad things could get this could happen then they could come to an agreement not to leave the euro.

fingers crossed??

General discussion / internet/tv and phone packages

Guys just wondering who you are with and what deals you have?

With BT at the moment and dont feel I'm getting a great deal, paying near £70 some months for infinity and just general BT tv, obviously some calls add up but still seems very dear. Spoke to them as out of contract and the girl said to ring back next week as they would have better offers then.

Spoke to a fella from Sky who over their whole tv package bundle (movies, sports and film) with unlimited broadband and unlimited calls anytime 24/7 to mob/landline for £49.00 a month for a year.

Seems a good deal. Would anyone have knowledge of this or know any better

Can't get into Fargo and Bloodline. A bit crap.
Fargo Season 2 or 1? I've just started Season 2 and I think it's very good. Probably not as good as season 1 yet but I'm only 3 episodes in.

Season two is much much better imo, just give it time and allow characters to develop especially when Mike gets involved.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons are great in it!!

Hoolohan was dead on his feet. He generally doesn't last 90 minutes.

I thought the management were much more positive with subs yesterday and was happy with that.

I really think Walters getting a knock had a big impact on us - particularly down the wing where they got all the ball. Coleman was pulling in to help centre halfs and a winger or centre mid should have been covering it but wasn't. Walters is probably our most important player(then Coleman).

Totally agree, also think that was the positive attacking performance I have seen from Ireland in a good while, least I could watch and enjoy, our first 11 isnt bad. No real star names like maybe when the Keanes and Duff in their pomp but the team as a collective plays well. Main problem is we are very light on the bench.

Both Kearneys out is a blessing

Anyone suggesting Jackson is better than Sexton knows nothing about rugby

Steenson would have been more deserving of a call up than Madigan (not that Madigan has done anything wrong, but Steenson has been playing consistently at a higher level)

I didn't say he's a better player than Sexton I said he has been the form Fly Half in Irish Rugby this year which he has been. Sexton has not had a great season by any accounts. Both at their best there is no question that Sexon is a better player but Jackson's form has been better.

Totally agree, far too many players getting picked on past exploits in my opinion and not their form, generally the only reason younger players are getting a chance is because of injuries etc.. I think this is the fault of schimdt and other countries seem to be able to blood younger players easier or more often.

Guys I'm hazarding a guess here but I doubt everyone playing of the Republic of Ireland isn't catholic as its not like when you leave the north you are just surrounded by Catholics...

Me I'll be supporting ROI cause I grew up supporting them and that sure as hell isn't going change now, I have seen progress from NI in terms to the anti catholic thing but plenty more needs to be made.

In saying that I'll also want NI to win their matches, its only England I'm desperate to see lose.
