I am death online at COD, keep getting killed. Only on level four or something, playing against ones on level 60, how is that fair? Is there not an option in the game for them to put you up against people around your level? I am always the worst player there. Keep getting woopa'd.

I'm death at it online too but I'm gradually getting a little better. I'm up to level 27 or something. Some games I'll get about 14 kills and other times I'll get about 2. Does my head in but that's why I keep playing.

Ah ya ye'll get better at it after time. Also it helps when your at a higher lever because you do get better weapons!!

If its on team deathmatch theres nothing better than throwing in a grenade at a load of campers and finishing the lot of them!! You can't run out in the open with them, so i just normally crouch and walk around with my back to the wall. Works much of the time!!

General discussion / Re: European Team of the Noughties

Hard to pick the best team of the decade. Ya have to think 'who was an unbelievable player back in the early years?!' Back then i doubt many of us knew so much about the other leagues in europe and the 'best' players were more spread out! I dont see Roberto Carlos mentioned and he was unbelievable in the early 00's. Agree with Zidane, Henry and older Ronaldo. Puyol, Luis Figo, Beckham, RVN, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gerrard, Ribery, KaKa, Giggs, Vidic, Alessandro Nesta, Torres and Terry would be there-thereabouts too. Lampard?? Maldini?? Keeper is Casillas I think and Fergie best manager.

i was listening to radio 1 today to the galway v donegal game. mom said to john maughan that he had heard ciaran mc donald would be rejoining the mayo panel. maughan did not refute this claim but had said justbefore this that ciaran was flying in training. anyone hear anything?

I heard that comment as well, he just threw it into the conversation out of nowhere. At first I thought he was just talking crap, but the way they left it suggested they knew something. Kind of annoyed me because people have finally stopped talking about him and you'd hate to see it all kick off again if there's nothing in it.

Couldn't see a starting role for him at this stage, but our back-up in the half forward line (Ronaldson and Padden) is maybe a bit weaker than in other positions. I suppose he'd be some man to bring off the bench, but we've managed fine without him to this point.

Heard it too. Just think he was being mischievious and hopping a ball. It s the second or third time in three weeks that he could stand accused of taking liberties with the truth, possibly, maybe.

I suppose it s not beyond the bounds of possibility.

Micheál shouldn't joke about something like this. It's torture. We've seen people writing here about either Conor or Kilcoyne in the corner - how about McDonald? Wouldn't he be able to do a job, if only for the last twenty minutes? I know he hasn't stayed in the corner in the past but Mayo weren't winning the kind of possession they have been winning when he'd come out looking for the ball. I would find it hard to imagine circumstances where he'd come back but his absence is definitely a loss.

Jaysus as soon as Mayo start doing relatively well without him the rumours would start flying! If he did come back though, it'd have possibilities of unsettling the camp, imagine how the lad who loses his place because he walks into the team would react! I'd agree though that it'd hardly be any harm if he came back and played off the bench, one hell of an effective sub i'd say! I'd like to see our team now though continue to progress this year as they have been!

With all the rumours in the past about his return though been untrue, I wouldn't take any heed of it until the source of the information is from the Mayo Camp!
And IF this was to be the year, he deserves a medal for all his past service, as does Nallen and Heaney for all their service past and present!

Dublin should run away with this!! But they could let it drop in the 2nd half as they have done before! Hope it'll be a class 2nd half!!

C'MON MEATH! ;D

Van Persie played for Arsenal tonight. United as expected played their subs and reserves along with Rooney as captain, who played 70 mins.

Big weekend for the top four this weekend, they are all playing each-other! Hopefully both games will be good entertaining games and not dull disappointing ones which comes the odd time. Hard to know how they'll go, Liverpool have pressure on them this week to beat Marseille in te Champions League while Chelsea are without Didier Drogba. Arsenals loss this weekend to Middlesbrough could be a bad sign and they are missing some influential players, Utd are also without many of their players. I'd go for a Man Utd win and Arsenal v Chelsea draw. :-[

Same, more used to the playstation now and I've never had a single problem with it. Would go for PS3, but the only flaw in it is the price.

I wonder is Hyypia been paid by opposition teams to score 1 OwnGoal in each game he plays?

I still dont think Carragher is anywhere near as good as he was last season.
#43
Gerrard hasnt been performing well since he broke his toe. Carragher isnt having half as good a season as he did last season either. I'd say Finnan is their best defender at this moment in time.

Liverpool seem fairly ****** again. They need to got rid of that rotation policy or somthing has them ruined, mabye they just need to get rid of Rafa.

Wonder is there any chance he'd take the Ireland job? ::)
