Monaghan should have home games against Tyrone, Kerry & Mayo after playing all 3 away last year
Away to Dublin and Galway.  Promoted Donegal is away according to Donegal fixtures and that leaves Meath which is probably at home seeing as we had 4 away games last year.

Is a team allowed to change the goalkeepper to an outfield player if a penalty is awarded??  This is only a temporary change for the penalty kick.
#36
is it goals only in the penalty shoot-out??  If its 4-4 and team 1 miss can the last guy just tap it over the bar for the win??

No complaints apart from the penalty decision obviously. Couldn't see what it was given for at the match given I was nearer other goals. But just seen it back. Crazy stuff

That said the best team won and margin prob didn't flatter them either.

At least this time Cooper had a reason to hit the deck unlike croke park a couple of years ago when he tried to get McManus sent off by pretending he got a slap. Ref dealt with it fine with the 2 yellows

Think the sin bin worked again last night in Armagh.  Not sure why Thomas Kerr got his black card (may have blocked off a runner) and Armagh may only have reduced the gap by one in his absence but they did gain momentum and had the game level a few minutes after his return.  Kerr was also going well before the sin bin but couldn't get into the game on his return to the field and was subbed a short while later

What does bug me though is how on earth is a neck high challenge not a sin bin.  I noted 3 or 4 of these tackles and they were cynical also but I think 2 got yellow and 2 got a talking to.  I know this wasn't in the original criteria for a black card but players know it is the best way to get a yellow rather than a sin bin.  But it can be dangerous also.  Surely a 10 minute binning would be more punishment for this than a yellow??

That is some clip of Bellaghy breaking out of defence at speed (54 seconds in) and creating a goal chance.  Then a good save, a follow up block by Inniskeen No. 5 and finally recycled and popped over the bar.  (Of course under the new rules the shot at goal wouldn't happen as there was one hand pass too many)

Beggan, the 2 Hughes and Conor McCarthy when all fit are certain starters for Monaghan and would be a huge loss for the league should Scotstown win on Sunday.  Shane Carey also starts most games but is always battling for a spot with another couple of players that can do a similar job.  And then the county sub keeper, Conor Forde, is also the sub keeper for Scotstown so he'd be out too.......

That said I hope they win.  Might as well try and unearth another couple of players during the league anyway (even if Scotstown lose and these players are available)

How many watches will a referee need in a club game if he black cards more than one player and he has no 4th official to assist??
