Possibly a wind up; if not... wtf would you escape on a bulldozer... hardly a high speed get away... though definitely would take some stopping all the same.

Puppy thrown at German biker gang

A German student "mooned" a group of Hell's Angels and hurled a puppy at them before escaping on a stolen bulldozer, police have said.

The man drove up to a Hell's Angels clubhouse near Munich, wearing only a pair of shorts and carrying a puppy.

He dropped his shorts and threw the dog, escaping on a bulldozer from a nearby building site.

He was arrested later at home by police. The 26-year-old is said to have stopped taking depression medication.

After making his getaway on the bulldozer, he had driven so slowly that a 5km tailback built up behind him on the motorway.

After driving about 1km, he had abandoned the bulldozer in the middle of the motorway, near Allershausen. He continued his journey by hitchhiking.

"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hell's Angels is currently unclear," a police spokesman said.

The puppy is now being cared for in an animal shelter.

Brick to miss first round of Qualifiers

Donegal forward Dermot Molloy will miss the opening game in the All-Ireland qualifier series after being hit with a retrospective four-week ban.
Molloy has been suspended after the CCCC asked Cavan referee Joe McQuillan to review video evidence of an incident involving Down's Damien Rafferty in the early stages of the Ulster SFC quarter-final last week, which Tony Davis discussed on The Sunday Game.

It's understood that McQuillan informed the CCCC that, had he seen the incident, he would have issued a straight red card. Molloy marked his debut with a 1-3 tally in the defeat to the Mourne men, but is now set to miss out on the first round of the qualifiers that are penned in for the weekend of June 26.

The draw for the Qualifiers will take place on RTE2 on Sunday next at 6 p.m. Donegal will have some big names along with them in the hat after last weekend's shock defeats for Mayo, Armagh and Kildare. Also in the hat will be the likes of Derry and Boxer Brady's Antrim and either Fermanagh or Cavan from Ulster, with teams such as Carlow, Tipperary, Clare, Longford also included.

I assume that should be "Baker Bradley's Antrim", unless they are accusing Kevin or young Colin of being a boxer?

Ah I hate doing that.. could just put a bit of cardboard on the back, paint it black, do the business!!  lol  ::) Only messin!

Depends on the phone, different companies would supply different parts on their sites. Even carphone warehouse and some other stores would have them. I'm sure if you check Ebay you would be able to get it.

I saw something in the paper edition last week about the online edition changing to a flip book/pdf like version from now on. i.e. the same look and format as the paper edition, rather than the look and feel of a webpage. Not sure if that is why there are no free pages anymore. Haven't a subscription so couldn't say for sure.

Dunno if this has been posted anywhere else yet or not... if so let me know and I'll delete it.

But seems the Tyrone boys have gone to the next level with their facilities...

Apologies... it seems the pitch is in Armagh... still... it's something Tyrone would be proud of... and am sure will copy soon enough...

No Eoin Bradley  ???

Must be poor sales of the IN up there in Glenullin.

That must be why Gerard O'Kane got one then!!  ::)

Fair play to him. I just saw him going up the hill towards Altnegalvin Hospital as I was coming out of Derry there this evening around 6.30pm. Looked tired, but was still going rightly. Some running up over the Glenshane, luckily half decent weather today for him.

He was running away on his own, though I spotted a cameraman and photographer and woman in a hi-vis jacket getting out of a car up the road a bit awaiting his arrival. Is some undertaking, and I hope he gets plenty for it. Great idea, and not one many would try.

The fact you when you pass Dungiven to shitty North Derry you lose signal for Phone and radio.

Have to agree with you there, but think of the great radio stations you can then pick up the otherside of Dungiven, the likes of Q102.9, Q101.2 West and Maiden City FM, classy stations. Especially some of the ads.

In fact those bloody ads grind my gears big time especially the ones with 2 derry city girls chattin about something in their worst possible city accents, usually a chip shop or something - 'Here Majella, did you hear about the 2 for one offer on cheese burgers at the Ice Warf?; No Majella I never did, but I'm going now, wouldnt want to miss out on a free burger, have only had 3 today so far, i'm fading away!' etc etc.

BTW, i presume it will be last year's winners representing Down as the Intermediate championship is unlikely to be finished by the 19th September?

Aye its all last year's winners, the clubs were sent invitations a couple of weeks ago, have to reply by 14th August or something like that.
